NBK- reacts to MOUZ’s replacing him; calls the move “unfair” & “rushed”
On March 18, Mouse Esports announced that the team would take on Jon “JDC” de Castro and shift Nathan “NBK” Schmitt to the inactive lineup. This move was made after MOUZ had a rather disappointing elimination at ESL Pro League Season 15 in the group play.
While NBK- did not immediately respond to the roster change, he did not bother to hide his disappointment. The French rifler took to Twitter to express his take on the matter –
I have been notified 20 hours ago that I have been put as inactive player by the management in the Mouz roster. I have never been so and confused about such an unfair and rushed decision.
I will chill over the next days to calm down and will start streaming individual practice.

The CS: GO veteran said that he was “confused about such an unfair and rushed decision”. He further added that he will be streaming his individual CS: GO practice.
In a comment below, NBK- further added,
“Only love to Torzsi, dexter, frozen, Bymas and JDC that I truly enjoyed playing with everyday!
See ya”
This decision has left NBK- team-less in the midst of a Major season. The two-time Major champion had entered MOUZ earlier this year after a short retirement from CS: GO. MOUZ ended up in fourth place in Group A after beating LFO and G2.
NBK- and CS: GO fans haven't seemed to have taken the decision well. Many felt that NBK-‘s performance at ESL Pro League Season 15 was great and he deserved better. You can see some of the reactions below –
Very sad. I just got a note f about the news.
I dont get the decision because you seemed in a pretty crazy form not gonna lie…. You looked scary to play against..
Hope you find a new roster to lead soon legend.— Lethal Diagon16 (@diagon16) March 18, 2022

I follow you since 2012 and I believe your personality it's not good enough for the team that you were.. :/

I hope you're alright dude. This reeks of poor team management. I feel like those guys would have benefited greatly from your experience. I think this is one move they will regret.

Meanwhile, MOUZ's coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen has stated,
“After a disappointing EPL, all focus is on the RMR now. We decided that JDCs attitude, positivity and communications will be vital for the team going forward. We know it’s tough for Nathan, but we strongly believe in the positive impact of Jons promotion.”
For the upcoming event, we will see Jon “JDC” de Castro replacing NBK- as the rifler. The MOUZ NXT player has performed well in the WePlay Academy League titles. When Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras was tested positive for COVID-19, JDC was called in as a replacement for IEM Katowice 2022.
