Epic Games is set to donate two weeks worth of Fornite proceeds and has already raised over $36 million.

In support of “humanitarian aid for Ukraine,” Epic Games is committing all net proceeds from March 20th to April 3rd to those affected by the ongoing war. Xbox has joined this effort and will be committing to the same pledge. Stated on their relief page, as of March 21st they have already raised $36 million USD. It will be going to a number of humanitarian organisations, including the United Nations Children's Fund, The World Food Programme, Direct Relief and The UN Refugee Agency.

Epic Games is now amongst a suite of gaming companies that are sending relief to Ukraine. Many donate directly or are raising funds in a similar fashion. An Itch.io bundle for Ukraine contains around 900+ items and has already raised $6 million. While Humble Bundle and their ‘Stand With Ukraine' bundle has raised over $10 million. It includes 120+ games and is still available until the end of this week.

Companies such as CD Projekt Red, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix have all donated directly towards the humanitarian relief effort. Whereas other major names like Microsoft and Sony have shown support by pulling out and suspending the sale and distribution of their products in Russia.

If you're wondering how soon the funds will be sent to these organisations or what purchases you can make to help, you can find all of this information in an FAQ on their relief page. All real-money purchases in Fortnite will count, including V-Buck packs, Fortnite Crew, Battle Passes and more. The money itself will be sent as quickly as they are able, once a transaction has been logged it will be sent in a matter of days.
