Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Best Perks & Stances

The journey to becoming a Jedi master is tough and grueling. Almost always, young, eccentric hearts go through the worst of times. Some fall prey to the dark force. But those that survive prove worthy of the crown. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the journey is no different. Fortunately, you do earn various perks and stances along the way to enhance your base skills.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor perks help maximize gameplay aspects like agility and resilience, while stances help diversify your combat reach. With 25 perks to collect and the all-too-familiar lightsaber stances that grant you five different combat options, these Star Wars Jedi: Survivor best perks and stances are the ones you should keep a close eye on.

5. Resilience Perk

The Resilience Perk is highly essential for every type of gamer. It comes early on in the game, so you’re free to equip it for longer periods of gameplay. Its main benefit is amping your survivability, something every Jedi needs, and Cal Kestis, in particular.

The Resilience Perk works by increasing your block meter value. That way, you have more leeway to stop incoming enemy attacks in their tracks using your block move. By increasing their block meter, players can stop incoming attacks for longer periods of time.

Where to Find the Resilience Perk

Well, it’s pretty hard to miss. Simply complete the Chamber of Duality, which is the first Jedi Meditation Chamber you’ll run into in the main story. You can find the chamber in Koboh’s Smuggler’s Tunnels. Here, you’ll run into Zee, the trader who sells you the perk in exchange for your Datadiscs.

4. Dexterity Perk

While the Resilience Perk is a great way for you to strengthen your defense, ultimately, you’ll start to master blocking/parrying/reflecting more effectively. Veteran players may even swiftly roll on without the need to equip Resilience. This is where Dexterity comes in.

Dexterity does the opposite of Resilience, where equipping the Dexterity Perk cushions any lightsaber throws with a touch more damage dealt. It’s quite a useful perk for gamers who lean more toward offense. Alternatively, it can come in handy in situations where you feel outnumbered, as enemies will take on more damage.

Regardless of your preferred stance, the Dexterity Perk will amplify damage throws for each one. Some enemies will even only need one lightsaber throw to be cleared out. If Dexterity

If this sounds like your cup of tea, head to the Chamber of Reason on Koboh. You’ll then earn Dexterity as the reward for completing it.

3. Double-Bladed Stance

At times, Cal will have groups of enemies gang up on him. They can sometimes be faster-paced, too. Unlike other stances, the Double-Bladed Stance has fast swings that are perfect for wiping out larger groups of enemies at a time.

If you’re a defense player, the Double-Bladed Stance will cast a strong shield around you, quickly parrying any incoming attacks. Similarly, offensive players will find its damage output relatively reliable. However, the damage output can sometimes be a little low compared to other stances, which is where dexterity comes in.

Where to Find the Double-Bladed Stance

On its own, Double-Bladed deals a good AOE attack. With Dexterity, you can throw even more powerful sweeping strikes and secure a win. To effectively prepare for multiple melee targets, feel free to equip the Double-Bladed Stance available from as early as the start of the game.

2. Versatility Perk

With five different stances available, it can be difficult to settle on just one. Most times, gamers choose to equip at least one go-to stance at all times, and a second one to complement the first. The second one often changes, which also means taking a long time to get used to it as well as boosting its perks.

Using the Versatility Perk, you can sort out that issue thanks to Versatility’s ability to temporarily deal extra damage upon switching lightsaber stances. The Versatility Perk is perfect for gamers who like to use more than one stance. It helps ensure that even while switching to your second or third choice, you can still maintain (or exceed) the damage dealt to enemies.

Where to Find the Versatility Perk

To get the Versatility Perk, you’ll need to head to Zee’s, a trader on the 2nd floor of the Pyloon Saloon. Make sure to carry with you five Datadiscs for the exchange.

1. Dual-Wield Stance

Often, you’ll find gamers’ combat strategies gravitate toward defense, offense, or a touch of both. If you fall on the offense category, then the Dual-Wield Stance is a must-have. Compared to all other stances, the Dual-Wield Stance deals the most damage per throw. If you merge it with perks that strengthen damage output like Dexterity and Shatter, the possibilities are endless.

In the later stages of the game, you’ll have the freedom to throw both lightsabers at enemies. This gives you double the damage output at a time and is a perfect way to clear out stronger enemies farther down the road. Moreover, Dual-Wield Stance has a fast, sweeping strike feature that lands consecutive hits at lightning speed. Similarly, it has a slightly higher damage output than the Double-Bladed Stance and a faster-paced block and parry effect.

If you’re already good at defense, the Dual-Wield Stance clears the way for you to go full-out on offense. It has the perfect combination of power and speed, granting you leeway in crowd control, one-on-one powerful targets, and any other enemy that proves to be a tough nut to crack. With both offense and defense covered, perhaps consider equipping the Dual-Wield Stance as your go-to weapon at all times. It’s less likely to disappoint.

Where to Find the Dual-Wield Stance

The Dual-Wield Stance is available relatively early in the game. You simply need to head to the start of the game on Coruscant and engage in the boss fight with the Ninth Sister to unlock it.
