These hidden gems are cleverly scattered throughout the game, paying tribute to the rich Star Wars lore and offering a treat for the fans. From familiar faces to subtle nods, we've scoured every inch of the game to bring you our top picks of the best Easter Eggs in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. So grab your lightsaber and join us for a thrilling adventure filled with surprises and Easter eggs galore!

5. Super Metroid

We kick off our list of the best Easter eggs in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with reference to a title that isn't part of the Star Wars universe. As spotted by some fans, there is a direct reference to the video game movie Super Metroid. As you progress through the game, you take control of Cal and BD-1 as they encounter a steep wall that they need to climb. The game shows you how to wall jump using a bundle of tiny animals, which is a direct reference to the same mechanic used in Super Metroid.

Eagle-eyed fans quickly discovered the Easter egg, and games journalist James Galizo confirmed it during a media preview of the game. It's a heartwarming tribute to the game that helped pioneer the Metroidvania genre.

4. Cameos: Boba Fett

Best Easter Eggs in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a diverse cast of characters, both new and familiar to the Star Wars universe. While Cal Kestis, the game's protagonist, faces off against the Empire, some characters deserve more attention. Respawn Entertainment included a Star Wars Easter egg in the game, featuring a character that may not have been on players' radar.

As you explore the planet Koboh, you will eventually come across Caij Vanda in Rambler's Reach. Speaking with her unlocks the game's bounty missions. Once you track down and kill all 16 bounty hunters, it leads to an encounter with legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett. The interaction between Cal, Caij, and Boba Fett is reminiscent of a Sergio Leone-style Western standoff, with the three characters attempting to settle their differences.

Fans of the Star Wars franchise will know that there is no compromising when it comes to Boba Fett. However, in this case, as Caij is whisked away in Boba's legendary Firespray-31 class patrol ship, Slave 1, Cal and Boba part ways amicably. This scene is a delightful nod to the character's legacy and adds an extra layer of excitement for fans of the Star Wars franchise.

However, Boba Fett is not the only cameo you will encounter in the game. Some notable names voice some characters, including Matt Mercer, Steve Blum, Yuri Lowenthal, and JB Blanc, among others.

3. Anakin Skywalker's Yellow Airspeeder

As Cal and Bode make their way through the Imperial capital of Coruscant in the opening scene of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, they come across a familiar Airspeeder. Upon closer inspection, the airspeed is none other than Anakin Skywalker's XJ-6, the same one he used in the film Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

The Star Wars franchise fans will recognize this iconic airspeed, which Anakin famously stole to pursue an assassin on Coruscant. It's a great callback to Anakin's character and adds an extra layer of nostalgia to the game. It's a fun Easter egg for players to discover and a great reminder of the rich history and lore of the Star Wars universe.

2. The Poncho

There has been an ongoing joke about Cal's poncho among Star Wars fans. In an interview before the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, actor Cameron Monaghan, who plays Cal Kestis in the game, jokingly asked the producers whether the game would include his favorite poncho. And surprise, surprise, the famous poncho is available in the game. To get it, you need to pay a visit to Fort Kah'Lin, located on the planet of Koboh.

1. Mogu: Droid, Draw Me Like One of Your French Girls

Best Easter Eggs in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Well, this is arguably one of the best Easter eggs in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. While exploring the vast planet of Koboh, you will find yourself in a cave. This comes immediately after fighting off the Bilemaw in the Harvest Ridge region. If you pay attention in the cave, you'll see a small opening on the wall.

You must squeeze through the narrow and very dark space and walk for over five minutes. You'll be stunned by what you see when you reach the end. You will see a group of Droids drawing a picture of a posing Mogu on Canvas. In what we are calling “Droid, paint me like one of your French girls.” I'm yet to find anything to top this one right here.
