1. Mandalay Bay – Mandala Bay Beach

Mandalay Bay is a hotel casino resort that is on the Southern end of the Vegas Strip, near the Luxor and Four Seasons. The Mandalay Bay Beach is an 11-acre swim park with tonnes of aquatic features. There is a wave pool, a lazy river, a spa, a beach club, a veranda, and cabana tents lined up by the pools. Get a drink or some snacks from the Beach Bar and Grill, or one of the three cocktail bars. The Beach is phenomenal, and can even make for a nice day program in itself. Mandalay Bay Beach is open from 9-6 on Mondays to Thursdays and opens for an extra hour on Fridays and weekends.

Mandalay Bay has one of the best casinos too, and it is fully air-conditioned and quite airey. You will have to change out of your swimming suit or bikini though before you head in, and check out these features:

2. Resort World – The Pool Complex

Resorts World Las Vegas has 5 major pools that you can soak in during hot days. The casino resort is on the Northern end of the Vegas Strip and is famous for its gigantic casino and top-rate amenities. The first pool on the list is the Athena Infinity Ultra Pool, an elegant, yet cosy, pool with views of the city. The Main Pool is at the heart of the complex and consists of three bodies of water. Next to it, there are daybeds, bars and grills. Then, there is the Family Pool, surrounded by cabanas. This pool is more of a water playground, with all sorts of thrilling features. The last two pools are the Bimini Pool and the Cabana Pool, which feature chess and cabanas, respectively.

Treat yourself to a kingly experience at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, which features 7 different pools. There are cabanas, canopies, daybeds and couches to crash on and unwind during swims, and you can buy drinks at the bars too. The pools are Ancient Greek-themed. There is the Temple Pool, Fortuna Pool, Neptune Pool, Apollo Pool, Jupiter Pool, Bacchus Pool, and Venus Pool + Lounge. Every pool has a special feature, whether it is water fountains, Grecian statues, mosaics or furniture. Our favourite here is the Fortuna Pool, named after the goddess of luck, as it has 5 Blackjack swim up tables. That's right, for playing Blackjack in the pool.

Caesars Palace is in the middle of the Vegas Strip, and this famous resort has one of the biggest and most generous casinos in Vegas. Poolside Blackjack is one thing, but playing in the casino itself has a completely different vibe.

4. Circa Resort – Stadium Swim

Honestly, you have to see this pool to believe it. If we describe a 4,000-capacity pool, positioned in front of a 143 foot TV HD TV screen with all the top sports games, you would struggle to picture it. Yet this is exactly what you get at Circa’s Stadium Swim Amphitheatre Pool. There are over 330 chaise lounges, 30 cabanas and 36 day beds to relax in. It is large, and there are 6 main pools to jump into. Though the pools do not have as many water features as say, Caesars or Mandalay Bay, this experience is something special. Sports fans can get it all here, watching games all day whilst sipping cool drinks and dipping into the water.

Circa Las Vegas has quite the casino and sportsbook too. Once you go inside, you have a massive array of slots to try out, and there are special high limit areas where you can go with your big bucks. Everything here feels stylish and roomy, so you do not have to slalom past endless aisles of slots or tables.

5. The Venetian – Pool Deck

The Pool Deck at The Venetian spans over 2 acres and includes 4 large pools and 3 infinity pools. There are loads of daybeds and lounge chairs to sit in, and even some that are submerged in the water, for the ultimate poolside (or in-pool) snooze. Make sure you take a picture in one of the stylish Venetian Cabanas, which are perfect for family Instagram snaps. The Spritz Restaurant and Bar is a swell place to grab a bite to eat, with all sorts of cooling refreshments, lip-smacking drinks and zesty food. If you come to Vegas during the winter, then do not worry about missing the pools. When it is really cold, then the pools are all heated, so you can still go out and fully enjoy them. The pools are generally open from 8-7, but the Venezia Pools stay open until 10.

Wouldn't swimming with the dolphins be awesome? Well at The Tank Pool, you cannot do that, but you can swim with sharks. Yes, in the thrilling Golden Tank at Golden Nugget, there is a massive pool and in its centre, there is a 200,000 gallon shark tank. There is also The Hideout Pool and the Slide, which may be better for guests who feel a bit squeamish about swimming with fully-grown sharks. However, the $30 million Tank is an experience like no other. You can also get refreshments at the H20 Bar, which is open from 10-6.30. The Tank is generally open from 9-7, but it may close at 6, depending on the weather and time of year it is.

If you can brave a little shark action, then you will have no fear walking through the fantastic casino at the Golden Nugget. The casino is on the famous Fremont Street in Downton Las Vegas, and about 15 minutes by car from the Strip. It is among the top casinos in the centre of the city.

7. The Mirage Resort – Mirage Pool

The Mirage Pool really feels like an oasis in the middle of the Vegas Strip. Once you get on your bathing suit and head out to this wondrous pool you will feel like you have stepped out into the middle of some tropical resort, complete with trees, rock fountains and a large body of water. It is picturesque stuff; all around the pool there are sun chairs with umbrellas, so you can sit and relax in the lavish surroundings. In addition to the Main Pool, there is the Private Oasis and Cabanas, where you can have a more intimate experience and sit closer to all the amazing greenery by the water. The Main Pool opens from 8-7 all week, whilst the Private Oasis is open from 10-6 every day.

The Mirage Resort, which will rebrand and become the Hard Rock Casino, has quite a popular casino. It sits on the Vegas Strip, which means that the Mirage casino gets its fair share of visitors.

8. Red Rock Resort – The Backyard

Red Rock has a gorgeous resort pool, called The Backyard, which gives off amazing summer vibes. This is the place you want to be during those sunny summer days, either sitting under a cabana near the pools or cooling off in the wading pools. It features an island fountain, as well as three acres of outdoor pools, and occasionally the odd concert. If you are feeling peckish, then you can eat something at the Sandbar, or simply get some sweet cocktail to quench your thirst. The Backyard also features a number of Blackjack tables, like the pools at Caesars Palace, so you can enjoy some casino games outside.

However, if you want the real deal then simply head on into the Red Rock Casino. The resort, which is located in Summerlin, is not in the Vegas Strip, but it is about 20 minutes away by car. The Red Rock casino is definitely worth a visit, as it has one of the largest collections of slots, and a special lounge dedicated to bingo.

Within the Wynn Casino resort, there are two pools, the Pool at Wynn and the Pool at Encore. Both have their own special characteristics and events. The Pool at Wynn has a laid-back, almost cosy feel to it, with signature cocktails and plenty of deck chairs to sink into. The Encore, which is our favourite, has similar amenities and areas to unwind in, but it also opens up at night. That is when the party kicks off, as it becomes part of the XS Nightclub fun, and suddenly the party starts. Both pools are open from 9-7, and the Encore nightclub opens from 10 pm.

If that is not enough action, then you can check out the massive casino at the Encore and Wynn Resort. There are masses of gaming machines and tables, as well as an exceptional sportsbook.

10. The Cosmopolitan – Boulevard Pool

Last but not least, the Boulevard Pool in the Cosmopolitan is another excellent place to have a swim and relax. It is fair to say that the Boulevard Pool is so much more than just a swimming pool. There is a pool, but there are also terraces around it with all sorts of amenities and services, including a massive screen where you can watch movies during summer nights. If you can wake up before 7 am, then you can catch the Sunrise Yoga at the Boulevard Pool. Or, sleep in and wait till 6.30 pm, when the Sunset Cocktail Hour starts. With a pool and views of the Las Vegas Strip, you can enjoy live music and amazing food.

The Cosmopolitan is another casino that sits right in the middle of the Vegas Strip. The casino has a worthy collection of games, and a sports lounge with a sportsbook, powered by BetMGM.
