The League of Legends streamer and cosplayer had described streaming as her “dream job” after joining One True King esports last year. However, she was soon off the platform on a much-needed break. In her first stream after the impromptu break, she revealed that she was still struggling with the whole stalking experience.

Fame attracts attention, and many times, it also attracts unwanted attention. After a scary stalking incident, Emiru moved in with Mizkif, her fellow streamer. On top of it all, fans noticed Emiru wasn't doing well and expressed concerns about her mental well-being. Emiru addressed the concerns in one of her streams.

Emiru Explains Her Extended Twitch Break

However, in Monday's stream, Emiru told her fans that she downplayed the situation at that time. In fact, it was something so serious that law enforcement had to be involved.

“Probably since like October, when like the sh*t happened that caused me to move here, I've just like not been doing the best. Like I've been trying my best, like I'm like ‘you know what I'm just gonna keep going, stream when I'm feeling good and all that sh*t but it was just like building up…”

“There was some sh*t going on that was like really bad, like law enforcement involved bad, but the thing is like, streamers deal with sh*t like that all the time, right? And then they still just like keep going and keep streaming, but it's like, I just couldn't man.” Emiru told her fans.

While Emiru did not specify what happened in October, it looks like the extended break has helped Emiru. She was lively and cheerful as always and played League of Legends.

Several streamers have opened up about their stalking experiences. Amouranth, Pokimane, Valkyrae, and others have all faced stalking and harassment in the past.
