Best Weapons in Lies of P

Lies of P features a unique weapons system, unlike many Souls-like games in recent years. It allows you to break apart weapons into components that can be combined to form new ones. But the game also has weapons you’d typically find in Souls-like games. You have your usual weapons, which include swords, scythes, hammers, and clubs. Some are generic, while others take after anime-style massive blunt weapons.

Either way, each weapon will have a stat system that you need to prioritize to scale faster. Alternatively, you can choose from standard or special weapons to fight against the bosses in Lies of P’s grim world. Whatever weapon you choose, it could mean survival until the end. So, make sure to take your time before settling on weapons. To get you started, we’ve compiled the best weapons in Lies of P down below.

5. Two Dragons Sword

Swords never grow old, especially for up-and-close combatants. With the Two Dragons Sword, you can easily take down all who dare challenge you to battle. It’s pretty similar to Wo Long’s starting sword—spooky yet oh-so delightful. You can use either of its Link Emergency Dodge or Wind of Swords Fable Arts techniques.

The former lets you perform two attacks at the expense of an extra Fable slot whenever you dodge quickly forward. However, the former will allow you to deal AoE damage to all enemies before you by blowing a “wind of swords” forward.

How to Get Two Dragons Sword

Once you defeat the Green Monster of the Swamp boss, pick up x1 Puppet-Devouring Green Hunter’s Ergo dropped item and exchange it for the sword from Alidoro.

4. Puppet Ripper

Puppet Ripper

As far as technique weapons go, the Puppet Ripper is the strongest and lightning-fast weapon you can find. It takes the form of a scythe-like sword weapon that cannot be taken apart. It has a string device attached, which allows you to deliver a devastating string of blows. What’s more? It offers two powerful Fable Arts skills, including the Quick Upward and Storm Spinning Slash attacks.

The Quick Upward Slash strikes enemies in an upward arc. However, Storm Spinning Slash lets you spin around several times to rip enemies in a wider range – physics be damned. Light attacks will serve their purpose; by delivering swift strikes, enemies won’t see them coming. But heavier attacks are where its power lies, smashing through everything in its way, including solid objects.

How to Get Puppet Ripper

First, take on the Puppet King, boss of the Estella Opera House. Only then can you pick up x1 Burnt-White King’s Ergo and exchange it for the sword from Alidoro.

3. Holy Sword of the Ark

The Holy Sword of the Ark is a special weapon that cannot be taken part in, making it a unique addition to your build. It can switch between a greatsword and a glaive. Despite its size, Holy Sword of the Ark is relatively fast, has reach, and surprisingly full of “motivity build” 99% of the time you use it. Additionally, it has two Fable Arts abilities. The first is Patient Smash, which can increase damage output when you hold down the attack button.

Alternatively, Alter allows you to extend the Holy Sword of the Ark and, in turn, reduce stamina consumption for a while. Afterward, your next attack will be stronger, and it’ll also make the sword glow red. Furthermore, whenever you use Patient Smash and Alter together, it allows you to use a combo slash, which gives you five hits at the expense of three Fable bars.

How to Get Holy Sword of the Ark

Since Holy Sword of the Ark is a boss weapon, meaning that you can only get it from the unique bosses of Lies of P, you’ll need to fight the boss, King's Flame, Fuoco, pick up x1 King’s Flame Ergo, and take it to the special merchant, Alidoro.

2. Trident of the Covenant

Next up, we have the Trident of the Covenant, also a special weapon that cannot be disassembled. It’s a blunt weapon that has two Fable Arts abilities, namely Link Rush Stab and Guard Parry. Whenever you charge forward and stab enemies with the Trident of the Covenant, you use Link Rush Stab. This allows you to perform a powerful downward strike at the expense of an extra Fable slot.

Guard Parry, on the other hand, makes it so that every time you successfully deflect an incoming attack, you trigger a powerful counterattack in response. With its wide slashes and long stabs, you can easily switch between dashing away and unleashing punishing moves on opponents.

To make the most of Trident of the Covenant, make sure to upgrade its physical attack and durability stats. You can upscale physical attack from 115 to 216 while cranking up durability from 117 to 152. With stats this high, it’s a no-brainer to use it to win a fight or even finish the game with ease.

How to Get Trident of the Covenant

As a boss weapon, you’ll need to fight against the boss type, Fallen Archbishop Andreus. Defeating him will grant you x1 Twisted Angel's Ergo that you can give to Alidoro for the Trident of the Covenant blunt weapon.

1. Electric Coil Stick

Best Weapons in Lies of P

Most weapons in Lies of P come in singular forms: knives, swords, sabers, or blunt weapons. These weapons often have either blades or handles attached to them. However, you can take these parts apart to form the unique, all-powerful Electric Coil Stick Head and Handle.

Both parts perform unique roles. While the Blade cranks up electric damage output for a while via Generate, Handle allows you to use the Rush Smash Fable Art that lets you jump and deliver a powerful downward strike on enemies.

How to Get the Electric Coil Stick

You’ll need 1,200 Ergo to buy the Electric Coil Stick from the Wandering Merchant inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.
