Best Raid Build in Warcraft Rumble

If you’re planning on obtaining anything in Warcraft Rumblethen you ought to make sure that it’s a roster that’s effective enough to tackle a raid or twelve. Of course, acquiring such pawns for your deck isn’t exactly a walk in the park, what with the vast majority of near-perfect units being slightly tough cookies to crack. Having said that, if you’re intending to stick around for the long haul, then you should, in theory, accrue enough gold to start punching holes in that character list relatively quickly.

To answer the question, of what is the best Raid build in Warcraft Rumble — it all boils down to a matter of player preference. For the sake of giving you a good starting point, however, we’ve gone ahead and pulled the best and most dynamic units from the barrel. Need we say more? Here are the most powerful raid-ready units you should aim to purchase as soon as the funds become available.

5. Tirion Fordring

Warcraft Rumble Tirion

Although you’re bound to come across your fair share of fantastic Leaders in Warcraft Rumble, you’ll no doubt arrive at the same conclusion as we did, and that’s that Tirion Fordring is, and perhaps always will be, the go-to unit for all types of encounters — Raids included. Simply put, the melee-based Mini has the power to not only deal large amounts of damage from close range, but also boost allies’ health, too. What’s more, Tirion can also withstand enormous damage out on the battlefield, with a HP of 700 and a 50% damage reduction, also.

Aside from Tirion, who’s arguably one of the most popular Minis of the bunch, you could also consider onboarding Baron Rivendare, a DPS-heavy Leader who, as well as having a high damage output, also comes loaded with a HP of 1040. For Raids, however, you’re far better off sticking with Tirion, if only to utilize the Holy Light ability to boost your troops’ overall health and morale.

4. Warsong Raider

In order to smash your way through to the enemy base, you’re going to need to despatch a hard-hitting tank-like unit, such as the Warsong Raider. As far as powerful ground units travel, the mounted machine can deal devastating blows to Towers, as well as move swiftly from one landmark to the next without drawing too much attention. Suffice it to say, if you’re in need of a Mini that’ll clear the way for the rest of your army, then you ought to keep a Warsong Raider tucked firmly into your back pocket.

As with any unit in Warcraft Rumble, the Warsong Raider does fall surprisingly short when it comes to eliminating larger groups of enemies. For this reason alone, you should aim to deploy the Mini only once a path to the nearest Tower has been cleared.

3. Harpies

Warcraft Rumble Harpies

Melee units cast aside, you’re also going to need a sturdy air-based troop, which brings us to the Harpies—a winged unit that has the power to swoop down mid-battle and gnaw away at an enemy’s health. In addition to the Harpies being able to deal a significant amount of damage, the squad also has the ability to move from target to target in mere seconds, leaving you plenty of time to focus on other targets around the battlefield.

There is one downside to the Harpies, and that’s their base HP. Unfortunately, they’re not the sturdiest of units, which means enemy troops can destroy the trio before they’re able to inflict any real harm. If you’re able to strategically move them, however, then you’ll come to find that the Harpies can in fact be some of the most menacing creatures on the map.

2. Huntress

Warcraft Rumble Warsong Raider

Once equipped with Elven Might—an ability that allows its user to deal 50% additional damage—the Huntress can become a real force to be reckoned with, and not to mention one of the best ranged units in all of Warcraft RumbleAdd the fact that the Huntress can also move around the board without drawing too much attention, and you’ve got yourself a prime example of a jack-of-all-trades Mini. The only downside to this particular unit, however, is that they’re not exactly equipped to deal with larger mobs, which technically means they can often struggle with crowd control.

The good news is, Huntresses can compliment a Warsong Raider rather well, as the two units have similar strengths and weaknesses, and can both use their core abilities to destroy Towers and other key locations in a relatively short period of time. Needless to say that, as far as two-for-one Minis go, the Warsong Raider and Huntress will provide you with some of the best victories in all of Warcraft Rumble.

1. Pyromancer

Warcraft Rumble Pyromancer

Every great build should have at least one elemental unit, if only to assist with crowd control from afar whilst the melee and aerial Minis take to the frontline. For the best Raid build, however, you’re going to want to play it safe by selecting the Pyromancer, a fire-wielding caster who can deal triple the amount of damage to their targets, as well as cause all enemies in the vicinity to ignite.

For the record, the Pyromancer isn’t the strongest of elemental units; a standalone troop comes with a base HP of 220. Having said all that, once certain abilities, such as the Conflagrate and Blaze of Glory nodes, are available, the Pyromancer can quickly become one of the most versatile and powerful units on the entire roster. And so, while you will have to put some work in to get the unit to realize its potential, the payoff will certainly be worth it.
