5 Games Like Warcraft Arclight Rumble

Blizzard Entertainment, the creators of the popular World of Warcraft (WoW) MMORPG franchise, are now dabbling their feet in the tower defense gaming space. Their new Warcraft Arclight Rumble mobile action strategy game is set in Warcraft's Azeroth realm, with miniature Azeroth characters facing off in epic melee battles.

It's a strategy game in which players collect their favorite miniatures from the World of Warcraft character roster. As they go through the campaign's more than 70 single-player missions, players continue to customize and level up their ultimate team through each series of tactical-based battles: Or rather, you may play co-op mode or compete against other players in head-to-head PvP modes.

So far, the reception for the new Warcraft Arclight Rumble tower defense game is pretty grand. Still, if you’re looking to switch things up with another game similar to Warcraft Arclight Rumble, these five games like Warcraft Arclight Rumble are a great place to start.

5. Hearthstone

When Blizzard revealed the trailer for their new Warcraft Arclight Rumble mobile action strategy game, many gamers couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the game’s style and Blizzard's 2014 Hearthstone. Both games are fast-paced, free-to-play, strategy games, except Hearthstone is a digital collectible card game.

Fans of the Warcraft franchise will like the existing lore of the Warcraft series. The game incorporates the same characters and relics from the popular franchise. So it's easy for diehard fans to feel right at home playing Hearthstone. It’s one of the most popular, award-winning, digital card games worldwide with millions of users playing and watching the game in 2022. So, if you're searching for a game that's akin to the Warcraft universe, Hearthstone is well worth the try.

Additionally, newcomers to digital card games will find Hearthstone easy to learn yet deceptively simple. So start building your deck and assembling powerful combos. With time, you’ll find the game pretty compelling, super flashy, and full of monster-battling fun.

4. Clash Royale

Another game to instantly pop on gamers’ minds upon Warcraft Arclight Rumble trailer release is Clash Royale. The only difference is Warcraft Arclight Rumble’s existing lore of the Warcraft universe.

It’s easy to see why gamers will effortlessly compare the two games. Both are tower defense games that require tactical-based combat and teamwork. However, Blizzard regards Warcraft Arclight Rumble as more of a tower offense game.

Simply drop in the arena, build your battle deck, and compete against the enemy in epic real-time battles. You’ll choose eight cards from a collection of them to help you defend your tower from your enemies. Popularly known for PvP combat, where you play against your opponent, the game brings unexplainable joy when you win trophies. The trophies don’t necessarily hold any meaning in the game. But even if you lose, the drive to win your trophies back can create an exhilarating cycle until you’re engaged in seemingly never-ending matches.

While Warcraft Arclight Rumble has more depth in PvE modes and a plot to give the game meaning, sometimes you just want to simply enter an arena and blow off some steam! If you want simple but pretty fun gameplay then Clash Royale may very well be your next gem.

3. Clash of Clans

Prior to Clash Royale, Supercell release Clash of Clans, a commercially successful mobile real-time strategy game with over 100 million monthly players. The gameplay is straightforward: build your village, train your troops, and attack your opponents.

Supercell consistently treats Clash of Clans gamers with a graphically gorgeous, flawless game of planning and strategizing against opponents. It receives frequent upgrades and is a social game to bond over with gamers worldwide. The game focuses on gathering resources to strengthen your defenses and army. So get ready to down your enemies through a series of progressively challenging matches.

The only caveat, as with other freemium games, is some players using in-game purchases to progress faster. But so long as you build a strong army and strategize your attacks, PvP combat against other Clans may very well become your next hobby.

2. World of Warcraft

5 Best Classes in World of Warcraft Shadowlands, Ranked

It seems absurd not to include World of Warcraft, the birth mother to Hearthstone and Warcraft Arclight Rumble in this listing. The Warcraft series has plenty of influence on the new mobile action strategy game from the world setting to the characters' skills and techniques. Consequently, you'd see a lot of your most iconic WoW heroes as miniatures (or Minis). They include Grommash Hellscream, Jaina Proudmoore, and many more. The game is also set within the same Warcraft universe as players fight their way throughout the world of Azeroth.

If you’re curious about Warcraft Arclight Rumble origins, you may want to check out the World of Warcraft (WoW) franchise that is also the most popular MMORPG out there. More specifically, WoW newest expansion called World of Warcraft: Shadowlands that ushers the franchise to a new era. You’ll encounter a ton of gorgeous dungeons, versatile characters and stories of max level quality. Most of all, you'll experience engaging exciting gameplay that will have you going back for more.
