World of Warcraft 2022 Expansion Details Leaked Early

World of Warcraft has yet to confirm the title of its next expansion pack, though its official source code suggests its title could very well be Dragonflight.

Although Blizzard has yet to fully touch base on the next leg of the journey, details have been mined via the official website's source code. And if what rumors are saying turn out to be legit, then World of Warcraft‘s upcoming expansion will be titled Dragonflight.

Fortunately, we won't have to wait all that long until Blizzard finally shed light on the project. Seeing as they mentioned a stream, which would reveal the expansion, taking place on April 19, 2022, it could very well mean our waiting time won't be that long. But as it stands, all we have to go on are a few words in a block of code.

What's in the code?

Embedded in the source code are three tiers:. Base, Heroic, and Epic. These will more than likely relate to the pre-purchase tiers for the Dragonflight expansion. But as far as prices, release dates, and all that jazz goes—we're as good as dead in the water.

It's been nearly two years since World of Warcraft employed an expansion pack. So, going by that, we can go ahead and assume that the so-called Dragonflight will launch at some point this year. At least, that's where all fingers appear to be pointing, anyway.

Of course, you can go ahead and follow Blizzard over on the official social handle for more news and updates on the upcoming expansion pack. But should anything drop in the meantime, we'll be sure to let you know all about it.

So, what's your take? Are you gearing up for another epic quest across Azeroth? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
