Best Courses in Disney Speedstorm

Kart racing has to be the one thing I simply couldn’t wait to do in the sprawling world of Disney and Pixar films. If you’re like me, you’ll be happy to know our dreams are unfolding quite nicely in the new hero-based combat racing game Disney Speedstorm. You should find your favorite Disney and Pixar characters in the game, including Mickey Mouse, Baloo, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Mulan, to name a few. But that’s not the most exciting part. These fan favorites of all time will be going head-to-head in kart battles. They’ll each have unique skills and abilities that can drastically tip the scales of a single race in their favor.

Oh, and the high-speed race tracks are inspired by none other than the Disney and Pixar worlds we’ve come to know and love over the years. Anything goes in Disney Speedstorm, whether it's the wilds of The Jungle Book or the docks of the Pirates of the Caribbean. There’s so much variety that it’s overwhelming to pick the best ones. But we certainly don’t shy away from a challenge. So, without further adieu, let’s rank the best courses in Disney Speedstorm.

5. The Great Wall

Best Courses in Disney Speedstorm

The Great Wall featured in Mulan has been an outstanding beauty in Disney Speedstorm and worldwide history. Even in films and media, it's magnificent and instantly inspires a warrior’s tenacity to pull through anything.

Racing along The Great Wall feels like drifting through a Chinese village. For an extra layer of authenticity, Disney Speedstorm infuses Chinese-style landmarks and architecture, immersing you into The Great Wall’s historical era as you race on.

There are plenty of realistic representations you would typically find on the Great Wall of China. For instance, you’ll see traditional tiny houses winding a stone circuit. Additionally, at the start of the race, players go through a massive red Chinese dragon and plenty more.

4. The Silver Screen

The Silver Screen

Mickey Mouse & Friends is as old as time, first airing during the black and white television screen era. So, having Disney Speedstorm pay tribute to the series’ outdated debut sparks a special kind of nostalgic joy that’s hard to ignore.

That’s right. Disney Speedstorm boldly features Mickey Mouse & Friends’ course in black and white and calls it “The Silver Screen.” Disney Speedstorm cleverly initiates your tour of the old days through a cinema theater showing old Mickey Mouse cartoons. It’s like slowly advancing through a black-and-white movie playing around you.

The circuit is all but black and white, with some pops of red here and there. These colorful parts represent skills, speed pads, and slipstreams, so they aren’t entirely a part of The Silver Screen experience. You’ll drive past retro posters of Mickey in his early Disney days. It’s a retro-style course for gamers longing for classic kart racers.

3. Mount Olympus

Mount Olympus from Hercules has a whopping eight tracks. It’s sprawling with wild imagination for anyone who dares climb the mountain. As the story goes, only the worthy are welcome here. You’ll have to prove your skills on the track, even as you evade burning piles and lightning strikes around its circuits.

Racing along the tracks on Mount Olympus almost feels like floating in the air. You’ll drive past clouds and gigantic statues of the gods. Thanks to their often transparent and godly theme, the circuits also allude to an angelic feel.

Watch out for memorabilia symbols like the Zeus flag with his lightning bolt symbol along with his temple. The golden gates might seal the deal for cruising the highway to heaven.

2. The Factory

Regarding stretching the imagination, The Factory from Monsters, Inc. makes the longest stride in my book. To have that adapted in Disney Speedstorm and allow players to race through The Factory is divine.

The place features nearly all the weird and strange features in the movie, including large yellow barrels where children’s screams are kept and recycled. You’ll weave in and out of The Factory through teleporting doors. There are so many doors – hundreds—that move around and act as obstacles popping out of nowhere.

One section of the course is the snow mountain where Mike and Sulley were in the first movie. The snow mountain often unleashes giant snowballs at you, so watch out for them. The remaining two sections represent the scare floor and a spiral road that you can drive through a tunnel. The scare floor is where all the fun happens. It’s a factory-like vast space with rows upon rows of doors that lead to children’s bedrooms.

Even as all the scary things happen, when you drive past the Monster logo and read their slogan, “We scare because we care,” you simply can’t help but smile ear to ear. But watch out for Randall once you’re in The Factory, or he may use his dreadful screams against you.

1. The Castle

Best Courses in Disney Speedstorm

The Beast had a magnificently enchanted castle all to himself. Not anymore, though, as you’ll be breaking in and wreaking havoc all across its enormous rooms. Players are shrunk to a minuscule size, which helps to create an intense feeling as you weave in and out of the kitchen, living, and dining rooms.

The walls and rooms are enormous compared to your small, miniature kart. You’ll run into familiar characters from the movie. What’s more? Disney Speedstorm doesn’t make it easy for you, as moving cutlery and furniture constantly dance around you and attempt to block you from advancing.

While you’ll likely be on high-speed alert through most of your time here, watch for some fabulous Beauty and the Beast memorabilia. For instance, you should see the vast enchanted rose in a glass in the West Wing as you drive around. There are also massive portraits of cartoon characters on the walls, gigantic pendulums, tea cups, and much more.

So, what’s your take? Do you agree with our best courses in Disney Speedstorm? Are there more courses in Disney Speedstorm that are more deserving of being in the top five? Let us know over on our socials here.
