Legendary Pictures will be making a TV adaptation of Dontnod’s adventure/thriller game, Life Is Strange. Now, the award-winning singer-songwriter, Shawn Mendes, along with Andrew Gertler (is aboard to oversee music for the series, being developed by Legendary Television and DJ2 Entertainment. Life is Strange is the first video game to ever win the prestigious Peabody Award.

Play any Life Is Strange game and it presents you with a sentimental story. Now, we are fully aware that Life Is Strange is played from a third-person perspective, but what if the television series was filmed from a third-person perspective? You are likely not going to see that, because the camera crew have to focus on a multitude of shots (like the long shot, extreme long shot, full shot, wide shot medium wide shot, cowboy shot, close-up, extreme close-up, over the shoulder shot, and more), for the talents on the film set.

There are more questions like. What roles will each character be playing (like Max Caulfield, Chloe Price, and Rachel Amber), will they perform any acts differently than the Life Is Strange game, and will we be satisfied? In the game, the player has the ability to rewind time and alter the course of events, but how exactly will this be portrayed in the television series?

Magic Keys:

Dominik Hackl (the developer of Magic Keys, which is an Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality app for Oculus Quest), used an experimental passthrough API. Within minutes, Magic Keys should be able to teach any musical novice simple piano pieces and techniques, somewhat like Guitar Hero games. Hackl said that an APK will be available soon. So far, a beta APK is already available to download on its Discord server.

Whatever, The Video Game:

When you first heard of the title Whatever for a PC game (which is also the name of the player-controlled cargo ship), maybe some of you thought, “Whatever.” Certain titles build our curiosity as to why the name was given that, what the game is about, and if it actually looks like it’s worth our valuable time. Believe it or not, the game is based on a true story.

Whatever is about a massive cargo ship stuck in the Suez Canal for nearly a week. Developer Napas Toteka wrote on the game’s Steam page, “You will cry and finally realize how amazing every cargo ship's captain is because it is extremely hard to pilot that !$@%!$# 200,000-tonne cargo ship with their extreme inertia through the canal.” While the game may seem easy where the player drifts through waterways and collect coins, it is a more challenging process. There will be UFOs, kaijus, rocks, gusts of wind, whirlpools, and more. An early access version of Whatever is coming in late September.
