Many players are enamored with his sad backstory as he killed his abusive father. Of course, in Fontaine, the reason for your crime doesn’t seem to matter. All criminals are tried the same, regardless of the circumstance of their crime. Despite his homeland forsaking him, though, Wriothesley still did everything in his power to save his people during the flood. He even commissioned the construction of a giant ship to help ensure the safety of Fonatanians, whether he had met them before or not. 4. Freminet

In comparison to Lyney, an on-field powerhouse, and the stylish Lynette, Freminet didn’t stand out at first. Even as a four-star character, he performs just ok. His involvement in the main story was brief, leading many players to overlook him. During an event in 4.2, players actually got to spend time with the four-star. During this time, Freminent helped a grieving mother remember her child and helped to cure a mental illness. Due to his strong narrative towards mental health, many players have come to celebrate him as one of the best characters in the game.

2. Neuvillette

Neuvillette is one of the most recognizable characters in Fontaine. He was one of the main focuses of the regions story and an elemental dragon. He is the judge of the Court of Fonataine and a powerful character. He’s a Hydro Catalyst who has the ability to pummel his opponents using a powerful beam of water. Despite this making his kit a bit boring to play, he is easily one of the most powerful Hydro characters in the game. With him on your team, it’s easy to wipe out rows of enemies without must thought. He is even made to work well along with Furina, who came out in the version after his release.

In the game, players get to learn more about him. Neuvillette is a fair dragon, who values the lives of his citizens. Despite his position in the court building a wall between him and his citizens, he works tirelessly to keep them safe. He is seen saving them twice during the main story of the game. He even goes as far as to give away the Gnosis, in hopes that it will keep more bad fortune from befalling the region. 1. Furina

Furina is the Hydro archon, and a character that had a major growth arc during the main story. When players are first forced to meet Furine, she is annoying at best and full of herself. Throughout the story, she repeatedly is of no help to anyone around her, and even gets attacked by Arlecchino. This caused many players to right her off, until the final part of the Archon Quest. Here it was shown that Furina has made one of the biggest sacrifices in the history of Genshin. This endered the fanbase to her, making her one of the most well-loved and tragic characters in Genshin Impact.

Furina as a playable character is also rather amazing. She has the ability to apply Hydro damage or heal your team and can swap between the two. Her two different forms makes her one of the most versatile characters in the game, despite not being all that powerful lorewise.
