Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut

Sony Interactive Entertainment has introduced PlayStation Trophies and Overlay to PC. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be the first game to feature the integration for PC players. The game will also offer cross-play functionality between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC for its co-op Legends mode.

For PC gamers, this heralds the arrival of trophy support, a feature previously limited to PlayStation consoles. PC gamers have been eagerly awaiting this addition for PlayStation titles. Those diving into the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima will now be able to earn Trophies, just like their counterparts on PlayStation consoles. Moreover, the game will come with an overlay feature, providing access to essential functions such as Friends lists, Trophies, Settings, and Profiles.

“Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the first PlayStation title on PC that uses a new PlayStation overlay, which includes your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your Profile,” said Julian Huijbregts, the Online Community Specialist at Nixxes Software.

Notably, the game will feature cross-play functionality between PS4, PS5, and PC platforms, which is significant for the co-op Legends mode. However, participation in this cross-play requires PC players to utilize their existing PSN accounts or create new ones. The overlay can be conveniently accessed through in-game menus or the “SHIFT + F1” shortcut.

The trophy set on the PC version is similar to the PS5, prompting seamless continuity for players across platforms. Players who want to maintain different gaming experiences can use separate PSN accounts for PC trophy-hunting endeavors.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut System Requirements

Nixxes Software has also revealed detailed system requirements that cater to a wide range of PC configurations. Support for ultra-wide monitors, including 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 resolutions, underscores Sony's commitment to optimizing the Ghost of Tsushima experience for PC gamers.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be released for PC on May 16. The PC version will contain the full game, the Iki Island expansion, and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode.
