Official Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer Landing in December

Rockstar Games on Wednesday revealed that they will be dropping a Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer in December 2023. In an X thread (formerly Twitter,) the franchise announced they would be dropping the first GTA 6 as one of their 25th-anniversary celebration plans.

Rockstar Games is famously known for keeping silent about its next Grand Theft Auto releases until their release date nears. For this reason, fans have been revamping for a GTA 5 sequel for a decade.

Until February 2022, the sequel was simply fogged. At the time, the GTA franchise developer announced that the sequel was underway, thus easing the tension among fans. Although the developers went silent after the announcement, more information did not take long to surface.

In September 2022, leaks surfaced online showcasing the game's development progress. The game hinted at one of the maps and a likely main character for the sequel. Rockstar Game later confirmed the legitimacy of the leaks, admitting to having been victims of an online hack.

However, following their promise to keep their systems safe from more attacks, talks became low. GTA 6 resurfaced in October 2023 after Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.'s fiscal year report was released. In the report, a GTA trilogy has been added for impending release under games to be released in 2024.

Although the fiscal report did not give more details, at least the anxiety is almost over. With the confirmed trailer release date, fans can now be at ease. From the company's History, it is likely that the team will also share the impending release period in the trailer. However, given that the reveal will be their first video, it is unlikely that the team will share the exact release date.

Given the immense development needed to attain a status like that of GTA 5, it's no wonder the sequel has taken so long off the market. However, that should be good news because it means the audience will receive a great game.

To find official insights into GTA 6, fans will have to wait until early December when Rockstar will release its first trailer.
