We are now in Fortnite week 8 of Chapter 3 Season 4, which means we are over halfway through the season. Let’s hope you’re familiar with Loot Lake because this week’s Fortnite challenges will require you to land there in order to complete them. However, there is a chance you can complete three challenges in one go! As always, our Fortnite week 8 quest guide is here to help you through the challenges. Also, don’t forget to check out our other Fortnite guides, for previous weekly quests, before season four is over!
Fortnite Week 8 Quest Guide
- Deal damage to opponents using shotguns from 15 meters away or less (0/100)
To kick things off, you need to get up close and personal with the shotgun. To get a head start, you can land at Herald’s Sanctum, find a shotgun, then sneak up on the Herald Queen. Two back-t0-back headshots should grant you the 100 damage.
- Collect weapons from eliminated players (0/2)
This quest should be pretty easy to do. As soon as you get your first kill of the match, you’ll want to swap out one of your weapons for one they dropped. You need to do this twice to complete the quest.
- Hit an opponent with a FireFly Jar (0/1)
FireFly Jars spawn as floor loot all over the map, so it’s only a matter of time before you find one. Once you have one, all you have to do is hit a player with it, so be mindful of when you make the throw because you’ll want a direct hit.
- Search produce boxes, ice machines, or coolers (0/5)
This quest can be done over multiple matches. We suggest landing at Loot Lake as the building’s surrounding the area all have produce boxes, ice machines, and coolers.
- Launch into the air using Launch Pads in different matches (0/3)
For this quest, we also recommend you drop at Loot Lake at the start of every match. Launch Pads spawn there, so you don’t have to find them as floor loot, and should be able to complete this quest in three matches.
- Mark a weapon, a vehicle, and a fish in a single match (0/3)
Once again, we suggest dropping at Loot Lake. There are cars as well as weapons as floor loot to mark. Fishing rods also spawn near the docks, allowing you to quickly catch and mark a fish.
- Throw Cow Catchers or Off-Road Tires (0/3)
This quest can be easily done at Chonker’s Speedway. The buildings next to the start of the race track all have Off-Road Tires you can throw at players or onto cars.
