Ravenous Devils: 5 Best Tips for Making Money

Ravenous Devils’ Mildred and Percival

I think I speak for everyone when I say this: selling human flesh isn't an honorable trade, but it certainly is a profitable one. What’s more, it’s also one that, oddly enough, doubles up as a two-for-one trade in Ravenous Devils — which essentially means more money for you and your spouse. Go figure. But, how do you go about making the most of such trades — especially when you’ve got the heat of the populous on your shoulders and a seemingly endless appetite to quench on a day-to-day basis? Well, that’s just it.

If you have just started out in Ravenous Devils, and are looking to earn as much cash as possible, then be sure to read on for a few quick money-making tips.

5. Let Your Assistant Do Your Bidding

Tailor and Pub in Ravenous Devils

Once you've dealt with the first tyrant in Ravenous Devils, you'll unlock the option to purchase an assistant for £70. If bought, the young shopkeeper will essentially take over the middle floor (or Pub, in this case), allowing you to take care of business down in the kitchen below. In addition to them being the new face of the business, they'll also serve as your go-to waiter and counter attendant, meaning you won't have to concern yourself with roughly half of the daily tasks on the checklist.

Of course, you will still need to provide your assistant with enough food to put out on the display counter before each shift begins. If you can help it, aim to purchase all four of the display platters as soon as they become available, as this will allow you to sell roughly thirty or more pies or pastries. If you're able to invest in the Gin Barrel, too, then you'll also be able to retain your client's patience; the higher the patience, the more money you'll be able to take from a sale.

4. Keep a Constant Supply of Eggs & Tomatoes

After settling into your new humble abode, you'll have the chance to purchase Tomatoes, which will not only grant you the power to produce fresh vegetables, but also unlock additional ingredients, including eggs, onions, and potatoes from the Greenhouse, too. And, is it turns out, patrons are willing to pay a lot more for a meal with a few seasonal dressings and side dishes than one without any complimentary extras. Therefore, for the sake of making the most out of your clientele, always be sure to keep a good amount of veggies in the Greenhouse. Note that, while vegetables and other Greenhouse produce can contribute to the quality and value of the food, you will need to keep each vegetable stocked up with compost.

Ideally, you’ll want to divide your unlucky clients into two groups: meat for the kitchen, and meat for the compost. If you can help it, aim to split your clients down the middle and swap between the secret hatch and the Greenhouse bathtub for each new person who enters the tailors. With that said, you should always prioritize the kitchen, as meat will be more financially beneficial for your business.

3. Invest in More Tables

There are four tables to unlock in Ravenous Devils, each costing roughly £35 to install in your Pub. Once you’ve acquired enough funds and have a significant amount of meat and vegetables, you’ll want to consider expanding the seating areas to accommodate more patrons. Once done, you’ll be able to host roughly four or five groups of guests each day, which can, and often will, make you anywhere from £40 to £80 per shift.

It is worth pointing out that, having more patrons in your establishment means having to prepare more meat and special courses in the kitchen. For this reason alone, you should only consider expanding your Pub after you’ve unlocked the faster grinding upgrades, which will provide you with additional meat per corpse.

2. Adopt the Friggin’ Cat

It might not seem worth it, but the truth is, having the cat in your kitchen can help you out in the long run. As a companion to your fleshy endeavors, the feline friend will go out and bring back rats for you to use in your menu. And yes, you can sell the rats as part of a snack on the bite-sized counter. Granted, it won’t net you a huge amount of additional cash, but it will prevent you from using up too much meat.

If you’re running low on corpses, and the platters on the counter are beginning to look a little bare, then consider chucking a few rats into the oven for a quick batch of snacks for your impatient patrons. Again, it won’t elevate your culinary abilities to another degree, but then, it won’t exactly cost you an arm and a leg to produce, either. Literally.

1. Stock Up on Mannequins

Tailors in Ravenous Devils

Percival isn’t exactly the beating heart of the business, but he is, on the other hand, a vital asset, and one that shouldn’t be overlooked. Aside from harvesting the meat for the kitchen down below, the humble tailor will also have to ship a few outfits every once in a while to earn a second wage. To make the most out of this side hustle, you should focus on purchasing the four mannequins from the upgrade menu as early on as possible, and then fitting them with the fabrics before opening the stores for the day.

Percival’s job, really, is to murder the clients and produce meat for the kitchen, so if you can help it, aim to have the four mannequins suited and booted before commencing any shift. If you’re lucky, you’ll only have to swap out a couple of outfits per shift, which means, in theory, you should have more time to butcher the patrons and focus on the kitchen. And as for the outfits, well, they’ll make their own money on the side. It’s a win-win, either way.
