Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to Appear on Summer Games Fest
The video games community was disappointed to find out that there would be no E3 this year. However, several entities are now filling the void with their own game shows. For instance, Sony's ‘2022 PlayStation State of Play' received an overwhelming response from fans. The show unveiled Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter, and several other notable games.
Other video game giants are not very far behind. They are already catching up on the trend. Bethesda and Xbox are both hosting game shows in June. Amongst all these game showcases lined up, many are looking forward to Geoff Keighley's Summer Games Fest. Keighley is the one responsible for putting together The Game Awards. And just like last year, he seems to be organizing a Summer and Winter games showcase.
The Summer Games Fest promises a lot of exciting announcements, game reveals, and amazing guests. Of course, celebrity appearances are not new to game shows. This year, for Summer Games Fest, Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock will be making his presence felt.
The WWE star took to Twitter to confirm his appearance.

The promotional clip was attached with the caption, “Appreciate you guys inviting me to swoop in! See ya then”. Geoff Keighley's Twitter status hinted that Dwayne Johnson will be talking about his role as “The Foundation” in Fortnite. The Rock will also be seen in the new DC movie as Black Adam.
There has been a lot of hype about the Summer Games Fest. Considering that the organizers have booked IMAX screenings for the show, we can expect it to be grandiose. Over 30 partners have declared their involvement in the upcoming games fest. Gamers are expecting new reveals, teasers, and trailers for some big AAA titles.
Summer Games Fest is scheduled to begin on June 9. It will be interesting to see what all things the fest has in store for the gamers.
