Assassin’s Creed Infinity Road Map Revealed

Published

 on

The future of the Assassin's Creed franchise will come enveloped in a brand new hub titled Assassin's Creed Infinity, an all-in-one platform that will introduce a variety of single and multiplayer games over the coming years.

Assassin's Creed Infinity has finally received its road map, meaning fans of the series can finally start penciling a few dates in their diaries. The main point to take away, at least in this case, is that 2023 will be the beginning of a whole new chapter for the role-playing saga — and it begins with two brand new single-player games: Codename Red, and Codename Hexe.

Assassin's Creed: Codename Red will take players to feudal Japan, a hostile playground in which you, a shinobi turned assassin, will embrace a whole new life, one that abides by the brotherhood. Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe, being the second single-player game to come to Infinity, will cast its focus on witchcraft and other fantasy elements. So, two polar opposites, judging by the early reveals of both games.

The Beginning of a New Era

Of course, this is only the beginning, and Ubisoft is most definitely gearing up to keep the Infinity hub stocked up with games for the foreseeable future. And this will, in essence, close the book on standalone Assassin's Creed games, meaning Infinity, moving forward, will be the only thing fans will need in order to experience the journeys, no matter how big or small.
