New Ubisoft Forward Showcase Announced

Renowned game developer Ubisoft has announced the next Ubisoft Forward showcase. Ubisoft confirmed the dates for two live streams, where fans can expect more announcements. 

The developer revealed the next Ubisoft Forward showcase on its official Twitter account alongside a “spotlight” showcase on Skull & Bones. The first live stream will focus on the upcoming Skull & Bones. The event will show off some worldwide gameplay of the pirate warfare simulator, which has been in production for eight years. 

“The show will start with a pre-show full of surprises starting at 7:45 PM CEST / 10.45 AM PT,” the YouTube description reads, “and the main show will feature new gameplay, our unique take on piracy, and exclusive behind the scenes with developers.”

The spotlight on Skull and Bones will be on July 7 at 11 A.M. PT / 8 P.M. CEST.

It has been quite a while since Ubisoft announced the game, and it is still in development. Ubisoft first revealed the game in 2017 as a spinoff to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. The game has since grown into a solo title. The long silence on the details of the game's development, along with rumors of many internal reboots, caused many to believe the game had been canceled.

Ubisoft has yet to announce the release date for the game. However, details about the upcoming game have leaked online in recent weeks. A report with the idea of a November 8 release date follows earlier test footage of the game spread all over the internet.

Ubisoft has also announced a major Ubisoft Forward, which will be held on September 10. The virtual event will stream live on Ubisoft's official Twitch and YouTube channels.

“Ubisoft Forward returns in full force, ready to reveal updates and news on multiple games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world,” an announcement on Ubisoft's website reads.

This year's Ubisoft Forward will showcase a wide range of games. Therefore, we may expect to see several reveals and announcements.
