New PlayStation Now and Plus Games for May 2022

You can't deny, it's a pretty good feeling waking up at the start of the month knowing you have new free games to play. This month, however, is particularly sweet because of the new PlayStation Now and Plus Games for May 2022. However, this won't be the case for long as the new PlayStations Plus membership tiers, will be rolling out on June 13, 2022.

Once the rollout happens, PlayStation Now subscribers will be moved to Playstation Plus Premium. Don't worry you'll still continue to have access to PlayStation Now, including downloading and streaming its large library of games. So, really it's a huge victory for PlayStation Now subscribers. However, I know you're antsy to know what the new games for Playstation Now and Plus are for May 2022, which is why we have them all listed below.

What's Worth Playing?

PlayStation Now – If you're a fan of arcade fighting games, like Mortal Kombat, then Mays lineup is ideal for you. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and Soulcalibur VI are two new inclusions, both in the arcade beat 'em up genre. It's an obvious choice if you're a Naruto fan, however, Soulcalibur VI is a bit more well-rounded with an extensive story, and it's our recommendation of the two. If you want to experience something new, then try out Blasphemous. It's a 2D action platformer that works off of skilled hack-n-slash gameplay, with an equally in-depth narrative.

PlayStation Plus – On the other hand, Plus subscribers will enjoy a little more diversity in their new May additions. Coming to the pitch is FIFA 22, which is always worth a try if you're looking for an invigorating but addicting sports title. However, we are recommending Tribes of Midgard, which is an insanely fun action-role playing survival game, with vibrant visuals, and a diverse environment. Lastly, Curse of the Dead Gods is a fun top-down action roguelike game, which you will undoubtedly enjoy if you're a fan of the genre.
