New Kintsugi Update for Sengoku Dynasty Announced
Sengoku Dynasty, the multi-genre open-world RPG, city builder, life simulation, and survival game, has a new update. Developer Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions have announced that the update titled Kintsugi Update is now live.
The update marks a significant milestone in Sengoku Dynasty’s journey as it brings substantial enhancements to progression and production systems. The update promises to redefine the gaming experience for both existing and new players. The Kintsugi Update features technical enhancements, including DLSS and FSR support. The upgrades will enhance both the visuals and the game’s overall gameplay experience, ensuring a more enjoyable gaming experience.
The revamped progression system introduces optional initial quests and grants players the freedom to build anywhere in the landscape with fewer constraints. Furthermore, quests within the villages of Segi, Aratani, and Iwasaki have been meticulously rebalanced to provide a more challenging yet rewarding gameplay experience. In addition, players can expect improved NPC AI worker behavior, enhancing realism and productivity within the game world. Villagers will now produce and consume resources, adding depth to the gameplay mechanics.

“The Kintsugi Update is our single biggest update yet, considerable effort and time has gone into technical optimization, but we’ve also really put a lot of emphasis on realism and gameplay features as well. This update also includes custom game settings as well and gives players more control over how they want to play.” Said Cieślar.
In addition, plants are now season-dependent, and the update will bring new flowers, trees, and plants. The improvements enhance gameplay depth, especially for the agricultural adventures that the developers added to the game four months ago.
