The PC gaming market has been performing rather wonderfully in 2023. With a wide array of genres of games to choose from, there are tons of games to play. That being said, some games are on the horizon that seem to be very enticing. These games may differ in the experiences that they offer players, but each is as exciting as the last. 5. Exoprimal

Today, we begin by starting off our list of the most anticipated PC games releasing in July 2023, with Exoprimal. Exoprimal is a game that hopes to appeal to the same action game fans as series such as Monster Hunter. In Exoprimal players will be able to pilot suits with great powers as they fight dinosaurs. This is a rather effective premise, and as long as the gameplay delivers, which appears it will, this is great. Players will be able to participate in combat utilizing a number of class skills to their advantage. This will be incredibly important in fighting creatures in the game effectively.

This also makes it so that there isn't simply one best class or weapon in the game. In fact, the game has an extensive weapon and talent system which allows players to customize their characters to their hearts' content. Additionally, the game will feature cooperative play, which is sure to be a blast. So if you, like us, enjoy these action-adventure RPGs in which you can hunt dinosaurs, be on the lookout for Exoprimal when it releases on July 14th, 2023.

4. The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Switching things up considerably, we have The Expanse: A Telltale Series. For players who are familiar with the Telltale games, you will know that their commitment to fantastic storytelling is top-notch. This can be seen in games such as The Walking Dead: Season 1 as well as the Batman games made by Telltale. Each of these games, however, all have an incredible amount of focus on narrative and character. That is where The Expanse: A Telltale Series comes in. This is a game that will also be episodic and have many parts to it for players to consume and enjoy.

For players who are unfamiliar with The Expanse, it is a series that was initially a book. It then became adapted as a show and lastly, we will be receiving a video game. It would appear that the developers also really want to sell the outer space environment. This means that players will be able to move around in zero-G throughout their journey. So if you are looking for a game that is set in space that focuses heavily on story and character, then definitely check out The Expanse: A Telltale Series as it is one of the most anticipated PC gaems of July 2023. The game is set to release on July 27th, 2023.

3. Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals

For our next entry of the most anticipated PC games releasing in July 2023, we have Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals. Now, the original Oxenfree was a game that received much praise and high marks for its atmosphere as well as character writing. And it seems that with its sequel, Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals, the developers wish to push the series forward in bold new directions. Players will be able to play through this wonderful adventure title inspired by many coming-of-age tales of yesteryear very soon.

Also, the game has a wonderful sense of style which makes it stick out among other titles released this year. Players will be able to think about their choices very carefully in this game, as they ultimately will matter a great deal. This is great and greatly incentivizes the player to think about their actions before acting.  Altogether, the overall stakes of the game are also heightened in new and interesting ways, that we cannot wait to see. 2. Remnant II

Switching things up significantly, we have Remnant II. Now, for those who haven't played the first game in the series. Remnant is a Soulslike third-person shooter game that can be played cooperatively. This is great, as it allows for players to bring friends along for the ride. And now, with the game's sequel Remnant II, we see those concepts taken even further. Players will be up against massive bosses, with daunting mechanics, and will have to use their wits in order to survive.

Players will be able to mix together long-range and short-range combat to find a playstyle that suits them. This is great for the player's sense of agency, as they dictate how they wish to play. This also opens the door for the opportunity for team play and synergy in the game, which is wonderful to see. Overall, Remnant II has large shoes to fill, but we are sure it will do a wonderful job of doing so. So, to close, check out Remanant II when it releases on July, 25th, 2023.

1. The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie

Now, for our final entry, we have a title that holds quite the legacy. The Legend of Heroes series is one that has become immensely popular for its characters and world. The games, which for many have become JRPG favorites, are fantastic. And it seems that with the newest entry into the series, Trails into Reverie that the series is only improving. Players will once again be able to learn the fates of characters such as Rean, as well as many other characters within the game's universe.

This is great as it serves to immediately bond the player to the character and by extension the game itself. There are a total of three story arcs that are told in this game. This gives the game a great scope and allows players to see quite a bit of its world. For players who seek a bit more of a challenge, however, the game features a mode in which players can face off against randomly generated dungeons. This is sure to be a great option for players old and new. So, to close, this is one of the most anticipated games coming to PC on July, 7th, 2023.
