5. Forspoken

The PlayStation 5 is getting some great games in 2023. One of the games that players can already kind of get their hands on is Forspoken. The game released a gameplay demo that is available for download during the 2022 Game Awards. This gameplay looked incredibly smooth and detailed and featured many elements for which players have been clamoring. While somewhat suffering from a strange control scheme, the combat within the game can blend together combos rather seamlessly once you get the hang of it.

The mechanics and world of the game seem promising. So we hope that these issues can be ironed out before release. While the combat may seem a little clunky due to the control scheme, players have already found potential workarounds for this issue. However, this game still looks fantastic and offers a unique way of parkouring around the levels, giving the game some identity to its movement mechanics. In closing, Forspoken, while there are issues with the title that need to be addressed, is still a great-looking title and should be anticipated by players in 2023.

4. Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. The game heavily features Chinese mythology, which is an excellent backdrop for the game as it is a realm relatively untouched by most games. The game appears to be an incredibly stylized look into this ancient world and has our hero Sun Wukong facing off against gods and other mythological creatures. However, this isn't the only form that the player can take, as they can also transform within the game. The game appears to focus on boss combat and seems to be rather Souls-like in nature.

The combat seems to be a delicate balance between slow, deliberate, and fluid, making for some exciting combat encounters in this game. The game is visually stunning, as in one of the cutscenes. We get to see the detailing of many female characters' facial models as well as the environment around them. The developers behind this title seem that they are putting their all into being as faithful to the tale of Journey to the West as possible. 3. Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 is one of the most anticipated sequels we have received from a gaming franchise in quite some time. The game will feature striking new visuals and quite a few new mechanics to keep even the most seasoned Street Fighter veteran on their toes. The beloved fighting game franchise sees its way into the future of gaming in 2023. It hopes to be a rather bombastic year for the fighting game phenomenon.

In addition, it is hoped that the improved dueling and spell mechanics will make the game more accessible. As well as more exciting for newer players. This game appears to be the closest in terms of finally realizing that Hogwarts fantasy when it finally releases for the PlayStation 5 in 2023.

1. Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man that fans have been waiting for. That said, we will have to wait a little longer to get our hands on those web shooters again. Finally, however, players will be able to experience the next journey of Spider-Man in 2023. The year appears to be quite stacked, with many anticipated titles to choose from. In addition, the game seems to improve upon the game's already smooth combat system. Players will have even more fun swinging around New York City and fighting crime.

The title appears to be a slam dunk for studio Insomniac Games and will bring those who are faithful to the Spider-Man series a fantastic new title to play through. The Spider-Man universe has a robust rogues gallery. In addition, the sequel Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will introduce new Spidey villains for the player to defeat. Hopefully, this will be done well, and fans can see the return of beloved (or hated) villains.
