New Games on Steam: Mid April

In this weeks edition of New Games on Steam, we will be covering everything from unforgivable action games to romantic puzzles. Both of them might make you cry, so better have some tissues handy.

Sunwards

Sunwards is a mix of action and adventure game, set in a dream of a magician Black Crow. You are playing as a witch Niche who wants to help his friend and explore his nightmarish subconscious. Don't let the comic book graphics trick you – this game is very challenging and can be compared with infamous Dark Souls series. Euphoria: Supreme Mechanics

The first time I tried Euphoria, I was instantly reminded of the Portal series. Aside from also being a puzzle game, it features similar mechanics and has futuristic aesthetics. Euphoria is also surrounded by mystery, as even your identity is unknown. However, this will all slowly change as you unlock more and more rooms and begin to get a sense of the world that you are thrust in.

Hero of The Kingdom: The Lost Tales 1

Next, we have a new installment of a popular casual adventure/RPG. In it, you will join the forces with an orphan Brent, to bring down the dangerous dragon that wreaks havoc on his village. Rather than to thrust you in an apocalyptic world, HOTK embraces you with an idyllic scenery that is relaxing and addictive. This ain't no complex RPG with a riveting storyline, but if you are looking for a casual title that will entertain you for a few hours, HOTK is a perfect choice.

Merchant of the Skies

Next, we have a trading simulator with a twist – you are an ambitious airship captain on a quest to build his own trade empire. Merchant of the Skies offers a deep, but not overwhelming, gameplay mechanics, with a ton of things to discover. It also borrows a lot of things from many genres, making it a great choice if you are into experimental games.

Fold Apart

Lastly, here's a heartwarming story about long-distance relationships. Furthermore, Fold Apart is also a  unique puzzle game, where you will literally fold the world around yourself to bring the characters closer together. In it, you will be playing as an Architect and Teacher, which will let you experience both sides of this engaging tale.
