NBA 2K23 Cover Star

The all-time greatest basketball player, Michael Jordan, will grace the cover of NBA 2K23. According to developer 2K, Michael Jordan will feature on the covers of two versions of the upcoming basketball game. He will be featured on the “Michael Jordan Edition” and “Championship Edition” covers of 2k23.

“This limited-edition version will also offer players the opportunity to catch on-court action throughout the season with a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass included,” 2K's Alfie Brody said.

Six NBA championships and five MVP awards later, the 14-time NBA all-star is still one of the most decorated players in NBA history. His induction into the NBA Hall of Fame took place in 2009. In addition to NBA 2K11, NBA 2K12, and NBA 2K16 Special Edition, this is Jordan's fourth appearance on the cover of an NBA 2K game. Surprisingly, his iconic jersey number is 23, so we can all see the rationale in the upcoming NBA 2K23.

The Jordan Challenge is back this year and invites players to recreate 15 great moments from Michael Jordan's career. In addition to the ten original NBA 2K11 challenges, there will be five additional ones.

NBA 2K23 will feature various cover stars. The publisher will reveal more cover stars in the next two days.

2K did not reveal the platforms, but we expect the game to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
