5. Gangs of Sherwood

Gangs of Sherwood - Official Trailer

We are kicking off today's list of the most anticipated Xbox Series X|S games coming out in November 2023 with a great title. Here, we have a bold reimagining of the classic tale of Robin Hood. Gangs of Sherwood hopes to bring its world to life with fantastic action-combat. Set in a dystopian future, the game hopes to keep the heart of the original tale. All while offering a brave spin on it as well. This is great, as it leaves the developers and writers of the game plenty of creative freedom. Keeping the same spirit of the original hero's tale, players will be able to loot affluent enemies for great reward, which they can choose to give to the less fortunate or keep for themselves.

This will surely play into the game's core mechanics, which seem to be centered around these mission-like encounters. The core mechanics of the game appear solid, with a heavy emphasis on the moment-to-moment gameplay, which is sure to be satisfying and exciting. All in all, if you are someone who is looking forward to what games the Xbox Series X|S has to offer players this month. Check out Gangs of Sherwood when it releases on November 30th.

4. The Talos Principle 2

The Talos Principle 2 | Launch Trailer

We are straying quite far away from our previous entry with our next. Next up on our list of the most anticipated Xbox Series X|S games releasing in November 2023. Here, we have The Talos Principle 2. For fans of the first game, this title seems more prominent, bolder, and more graphically impressive than the series' previous outing. For players who enjoyed the deep philosophical questions and quandaries posed in the first game, this sequel appears to have even more depth to it. This time around, there are a multitude of different difficulties for players to choose from.

This makes it a really adaptable experience, full of more novice puzzles and other, more challenging puzzles to stump even the bravest and brightest among us. This is great, as it shows that the developers are dedicated to bringing more challenging experiences to the player. That said, you don't have to complete all of the puzzles to enjoy the game's enthralling story, which is wonderful. For its mechanical complexity and profound themes, we consider The Talos Principle 2 one of the most anticipated titles on the horizon.

3. The Invincible

The Invincible - Official Trailer | The MIX Showcase October 2023

We are staying somewhat in the same vein with our next entry. Here, we have The Invincible. Set in a sci-fi-inspired world, The Invincible hopes to pose very thought-provoking questions while allowing players to explore a beautifully imagined world. Set to release on November 6th, 2023, this game features a magnificent blend of philosophical elements, as well as some phenomenal storytelling. Described as an atompunk title, players are able to maneuver throughout the world as a scientist searching for answers. The game's stylish visuals also leave quite an impression and plenty of room for the players to immerse themselves.

Players will have a plethora of technologies aiding them in their journey through the game. These technologies not only serve to aid the player but also are of great narrative importance. The game poses many questions surrounding the old technology and the new, new, and old. As well as questions surrounding friend and enemy alike. It is for these reasons that The Invincible is a title that definitely deserves to be on your radar for Xbox Series X|S owners in November 2023.

2. Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

Like a Dragon Gaiden Gameplay Reveal Trailer

We are changing things up quite a bit with our next entry on our list. For the next entry on our list of the most anticipated Xbox Series X|S games releasing in November, here we have Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. For fans of the Yakuza series, the saga of Kazuma Kiryu is one that has spanned many years. Throughout those years, he has become an unforgettable legend. As with past titles in the franchise, players are able to make the world their oyster. Whether you enjoy delving into the game's phenomenal narrative or simply want to play minigames and karaoke. Every choice you make matters.

Players are able to shape their journey in any way they see fit. Aiding in this sense of freedom is the astonishing amount of side content available in the game. This side content all feels meaningful and impactful, even if some of them are simply put quite silly. This commitment to all of the content you complete matters greatly and is one of the best things about the Yakuza franchise. And with its newest entry, Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, they appear to have knocked it out of the park once again.

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Multiplayer Trailer | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

We are wrapping up today's list of the most anticipated Xbox Series X|S games releasing in November 2023 with a bang. The Call of Duty franchise is one that has become almost synonymous with the AAA gaming space. In doing so, players have seen many iterations of the Call of Duty formula over the years. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, there seems to be somewhat of a return to form. Featuring the more rapid movement style of modern Call of Duty titles, with the older-style map design philosophies of previous titles, this game hopes to shake up the Call of Duty community when it releases on November 10th.

Firstly, this is great, as there is something to be said about the longevity of these classic maps. While sixteen of the maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2009) make a triumphant return, there are also a number of other maps being added to the game at launch. This is great, as it will surely give older fans a chance to relive their favorite memories of these maps. And it also exposes them to a new generation. In short, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is one of the most anticipated titles this year.
