Elden Ring Campaign Length Confirmed

Published

 on

There's no glossing over the fact that Elden Ring is February's biggest and most hyped video game, period. And with great hype, of course, comes an influx of questions. Questions, such as, how long will the campaign be, and whether or not it will contain enough content to have players running aimlessly for months on end.

Thankfully, developer FromSoftware has confirmed at least one of those questions. According to producer Yasuhiro Kitao, the main route will take around 30 hours to complete, though it is subject to change, depending on the paths and crossroads the player tackles.

“This will differ significantly by player but in terms of targets set during development, the idea is that the main route should be able to be completed within around 30 hours,” Kitao said. “The game as a whole is quite massive, and contains many dozens more hours worth of gameplay but if we are talking about the main route only, it shouldn't take much longer than that.”

Elden Ring has gone gold

Announced during the Taipei Game Show, Elden Ring has officially gone gold, according to its devs. This, of course, means the game has passed all the necessary checks, and is now ready for publication. As for From Software, the team behind the game are already working on the day one patch, which stems from the feedback revolving around the network test.

Elden Ring is set to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on Feb. 25, 2022. You can follow all the latest updates over on the official social handle here.
