Best Weapons in The Lords of the Fallen

Trekking the treacherous lands of Axiom is nowhere close to easy. Even more so once you descend into the land of the dead, Umbral. Fortunately, The Lords of the Fallen offer a juicy arsenal of weapons to protect and defend yourself. Each has distinct stats and scaling that can make choosing the best ones slightly difficult.

The Lords of the Fallen cater to every playstyle, character build, and preference. It has a whopping collection of weapons at your disposal. From axes, fists, daggers, bows, flails, hammers, and swords, anything goes. So, which ones would tip the scales a little better in your favor? Check out the best weapons in The Lords of the Fallen to start.

5. Pieta’s Sword

Best Weapons in The Lords of the Fallen

First up, we have Pieta’s Sword, a short sword melee weapon that can cut through anything in close range. It’s lightweight, allowing you to weave fast between enemies, and has an attack power of 69 points. Pieta’s Sword specializes in inflicting holy damage on enemies, bosses, or other PvP players. Meanwhile, it offers protection against damage, whether against physical, holy, fire, or withering attacks. For the best results, though, you’ll want to pair Pieta’s Sword with a high-offense and defense stat shield to cover all bases in high-stakes battles.

How to Get Pieta’s Sword

Firstly, you’ll need to acquire a Level 25 Radiance to unlock Pieta’s Sword. As the sword belongs to the first boss, Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal, you’ll need to face her to receive Remembrance of Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal, as a reward. Then, bring the remembrance over to the merchant, Molhu, at Skyrest Bridge to craft the sword for you.

4. Throwing Hand

Next up, we have Throwing Hand, a versatile and perfect ranged weapon for players who like to keep a safe distance from the enemy. It essentially allows you to equip throwable weapons like javelins and grenades to set enemies ablaze from afar. Meanwhile, Throwing Hand provides effective defense protection, with a 20% block rate for all incoming attacks.

Different throwables grant you varied benefits. They can heal or bonk enemies on their heads. While there are a variety of throwable items you can slot onto a Throwing Hand, you might want to consider the enhanced lump hammer or enhanced banner javelin for protection.

The former is effective in inflicting the most physical damage while imposing a steady, staggering effect that leaves enemies open to consecutive critical hits. Meanwhile, the latter heals as well as inflicts damage. When planted in the ground, it creates an AoE healing cover. However, when thrown, it deals a considerable and serviceable amount of damage to enemies.

How to Get a Throwing Hand

It depends on the class. For instance, the Dark Crusader class equips Throwing Hand as their starting weapon. Other classes have predetermined locations. Thereafter, all you need to do is go to your inventory and slot the throwing hand in the ranged weapon slot. Then, place your preferred throwable item in the ammo slot, and you’re good to go.

3. The Iron Wayfarer’s Hammer

Hammers seem a little out of place in Soulslike The Lords of the Fallen, but in The Iron Wayfarer’s Hammer’s case, it’ll be worthwhile to take it for a spin. Above all, Wayfarer’s hammer inflicts massive physical damage on bosses and enemies. Meanwhile, it also deals considerable holy, fire, and wither damage, so elemental-based enemies don’t stand a chance.

While The Iron Wayfarer’s Hammer is a melee weapon for close-quarters combatants, it gives enough confidence in victory, especially after witnessing the boss, Iron Wayfarer, destroy you with it. What’s more? It’s heavy-handed, with a 35.2-point weight, which is perfect for Strength, and tank builds but not so much for Agility.

How to Get The Iron Wayfarer’s Hammer

You’ll need to defeat The Iron Wayfarer boss just outside the gates of Bramis Castle in Upper Calrath to pick up his hammer as a reward.

2. Hallowed Praise

Back to swords – the Hallowed Praise short sword is an exceptional alternative to Pieta’s Sword. It inflicts both physical and bleed damage in great measure, as well as Holy damage against elemental-based enemies. Due to its light 7.5-point weight, players who are quick on their feet will revel in its swiftness. Also, Agility builds will want to equip this one for close-range encounters.

Rest assured, each cut will hit at precise points, leaving enemies defeated in a sea of their own blood. Meanwhile, you can take advantage of its heavy attacks to sweep a wide, charged attack on groups of enemies for crowd control.

How to Get Hallowed Praise

Defeat the boss, Scourged Sister Delyth, at the end of Skyrest Bridge. Then, follow the main path toward Pilgrim’s Perch. You should find the sword on a dead body in front of the altar at the Sanctuary of Baptism.

1. Bow of the Convert

Best Weapons in The Lords of the Fallen

Bows come in handy when picking off enemies from afar, and the Bow of the Convert is likely your best shot at staying alive. It deals considerable physical damage, with a 70 stat for each hit. In addition, it makes up for its short range with a number of status effects that are spread out evenly among all elemental enemies: 80 Bleed, 80 Burn, 80 Poison, and 80 Frostbite.

It makes it an all-powerful weapon against any type of enemy you take on. Meanwhile, it also keeps you mobile and constantly on your toes. To make the most of Bow of the Convert, though, you’ll need to craft a powerful Agility build and crank it up to Level 16 Agility. All in all, the Bow of the Convert is exceptionally great, provided you stick to the right build.

How to Get Bow of the Convert

You’ll find the Bow of the Convert on a dead body on the rooftop of the Calreth Slums near the gate.
