During your adventures with Cloud and his party members, you’ll need the most potent weapons to fight formidable enemies. Precisely, each companion needs a carefully curated build to maximize their strengths and weaknesses in battle. Yuffie Kisaragi, who’s a playable young ninja in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that joins your party as part of the main story, excels in ranged shuriken attacks.

Ranged damage allows you to keep a safe distance while stacking up on ATB. Yuffie can also switch elemental attacks on the go, thus paving the way for striking down a variety of enemies. Once weakened, Yuffie dashes in for a final blow, unleashing the Supreme Art of War's physical attack and… case closed. Check out the best weapons for Yuffie in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth below.

5. Savage Dagger

Savage Dagger for Yuffie in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

The iconic Savage Dagger makes it to the list of the best weapons for Yuggie. Even though it’s a starting throwing star weapon with a sharp metal blade that you get by default, it still boasts a considerable amount of attack power worth exploring. Being a mid-to-long-range fighter, the Savage Dagger’s ability to be thrown comes in handy in keeping a safe distance. What’s more? It allows you to launch it on faraway enemies even when you’re unable to move or have taken too much damage, thanks to Blindside. You can use it while airborne, too.

While the Savage Dagger excels at inflicting elemental damage, it also has decent physical attack power. Still, to make the most of the dagger, you practically need to be weakened. It results in a hidden potential that can only be tapped into from a defensive position. Otherwise, if you’re doing well in battle, blindside hardly counts.

How to Get Savage Dagger

The Savage Dagger automatically unlocks for you as soon as Yuffie joins your party in chapter seven.

4. Bird of Prey

Bird of Prey

Bird of Prey’s overall stats are reasonably strong, as well as one more Materia slot. It falls short of the Twin Viper’s damage on impact. However, its attack power is still impressive. Additionally, it comes with the Doppelganger ability, which lets you summon a clone of yourself. Every action you take is mimicked by your clone, including while airborne, for a certain time. There’s no limit to how many times you can conjure up clones of yourself.

It’s essentially adding more party members, albeit weaker, in battle, making it a slightly overpowered ability to take full advantage of. Be sure to strategize the cloning ability. You can use clones to distract enemies, for instance, or overwhelm them too. Because the clones have a weaker attack power, though, Bird of Power can, in the long run, prove more of a striking visual aesthetic than a reliable one.

How to Get Bird of Prey

You can find Bird of Prey in a treasure chest in Cissnei’s house inside the Gongaga Inn of Gongaga Village in chapter nine.

3. Twin Viper

Twin Viper

Twin Viper is the best weapon for Yuffie, with just as powerful magical power as physical attacks. It’s the perfect crowd-control tool that comes in handy when you’re overwhelmed with waves of enemies. Using its Windstorm ability, you can unleash a gust of wind that inflicts damage on all nearby enemies, then launch them toward you for the final blow.

In fact, Windstorm is Yuffie’s best ability, inflicting highly devastating damage on a wide scale. What’s more? Twin Viper provides additional Materia slots for freely tweaking its potential to your preference.

How to Get Twin Viper

Head over to the Preparation Plant in the ground level of Coal Mines in chapter seven to find the Twin Viper stashed away in a treasure chest.

2. Crystalline Cross

Crystalline Cross Weapon Location For Yuffie | Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Next up is the Crystalline Cross, also a throwing star, yet far stronger. It gives you a devastating 119 attack power and a relatively decent 40 magic stats, thereby prioritizing attack over magic. Since its base attack power is the highest among all of Yuffie’s weapons, it makes Crystalline Cross the best attack-focused weapon you want by your side. This is only heightened by its unique ability: Banishment, which lets you pump up damage dealt with each ATB consumed.

Most buffs usually increase your health or, in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s case, your magic potential. However, by increasing your damage output, you can focus solely on dominating the battlefield over all else. Furthermore, Crystalline Cross lets you change elemental spells depending on your elemental Ninjutsu option. That way, you can take on any enemy; you only need to switch to inflicting spells that target their elemental weakness.

How to Get Crystalline Cross

Crystalline Cross unlocks a little later in chapter 12. You’ll find it in a purple-lit treasure chest in the Utilidor area in the Gold Saucer. You can only access it, though, on your second Gold Saucer trip.

1. Fuma Shuriken

Fuma Shuriken

Another legendary throwing star to consider is the Fuma Shuriken. It prioritizes base attack power over magic, with six Materia slots for customization. Its special ability, Purification, does the opposite of Crystalline Cross, where instead of buffing damage dealt, it buffs your health and magic potential. This helps to stay in battle for longer, without running out of HP and MP resources.

You only need to keep consuming ATB to replenish health and magic simultaneously. It’s a win-win, and with targeted upgrades, Fuma Shuriken can easily transform Yuffie into an unstoppable killing machine. Simply pump up your ATB charge rate and shuriken mastery, and you’ll be good to go.

How to Get Fuma Shuriken

Fuma Shuriken is found in a treasure chest inside the Shrine of Ambition in the Temple of the Ancients in the Hall of Resurrection – First Tier. It’s the last weapon you can unlock for Yuffie, right down to chapter 13.
