5 Best Roblox Games Like Jailbreak

Jailbreak is amassing tons of fans, all for the right reason. The open-world Roblox game is similar to the heists in Grand Theft Auto, owing to its Cops and Robbers theme. If you’ve ever had the desire to break the law and not face the reality of the consequences, Jailbreak gives you the thrill and feel of being a criminal. The game gives you the option of either planning a grand heist or going the “blue” way and catching the criminals before they commit the ultimate crime. Combine this in a multiplayer setting, and you get an unfathomable and preposterously enjoyable Roblox game. If you wish to see more of this action on Roblox, we’ve compiled a list of the five best Roblox games like Jailbreak. So without much further ado, let’s dive in.

5. Mad City

MAD CITY: CHAPTER 2 - TRAILER

Although critics term Mad City a rip-off of Jailbreak owing to its familiar game elements, the former is more enthralling. In an open-world environment, players choose which role to take between police, prisoner, or hero in the classic cops and robbers theme.

Playing as the police, you get three items to help you with your law-enforcement duties; handcuffs, a pistol, and a taser. Your main task-arrest lawbreakers, the scales convicts, and put them back in prison. As a prisoner, you must break out of the four walls and become a criminal. You'll find various helpful items in your cell to help you make a jailbreak. This could be a knife, hammer, or other crude items you can piece together to create a C4 bomb.

Once you become a criminal, you can complete various mini-quests while keeping a keen eye out for the men in blue. If a cop arrests or kills you, you'll spawn in prison and embrace the reality of attempting another jailbreak.

Mad City adds two more teams to the game; heroes and villains. Heroes can kill criminals and send them back to jail. However, they can't make any arrests. On the other hand, villains are die-hard criminals who possess the power of a fallen hero. Once a hero dies, a criminal can pick up the hero's power crystal and become corrupted with power.

4. Wanted

THE NEXT JAILBREAK! (ROBLOX Wanted)

Wanted is another exciting cops and robbers-themed Roblox game that is just like Jailbreak. The apparent difference is the role titles. Instead of playing as a criminal, you are a dirty Mafioso. Also, cops are known as law enforcers.

As a mafioso, you get a grand map to maneuver and commit as many atrocities as possible. From robberies to heists, you’ll basically be the El Chapo of the box city. On the other hand, law enforcers swear a duty to protect the town from the mafioso invasion. Typically, the Mafia will work together to carry out heists. However, if a bounty is placed on their heads, a red silhouette will hover above the characters.

Moreover, the game also introduces a mercenary role. Mercenaries can also take part in robberies. However, they're frequently targeted by law enforcers and the mafioso. A good mercenary has excellent combat skills to fight law enforcers, the mafioso, and other mercenaries.

3. Moon City

If you enjoyed the famous Grand Theft Auto V by Rockstar Games, here is a fun and addictive blox-themed rendition of the game, Moon City.

Like in GTA V, you get a mini-map that points to your base and lists quests to participate in. Unlike the previously mentioned titles, this game doesn't feature teams. You get a customizable character and can choose whether to play rough or nice.

Moreover, the game borrows additional elements from GTA V, such as various ammunition and plenty of cars to choose from. Also, like in GTA V, you can team up with your online mates and rampage the city and other players. To make it more fun, you can think of yourself as Don Vito Corleone, running your own mafia gang.

2. Dawn of Aurora

Dawn of Aurora - Announcement Trailer

In a derelict wasteland full of failed experiments turned monsters, your survival skills are put to the test in this exciting survival role-playing Roblox game like Jailbreak. Aurora is the last city of civilization in Venezia and your gateway to survival.

In the post-apocalyptic world, you'll encounter various monstrosities, which you'll have to battle using weapons within your reach. As mentioned, the game is like Jailbreak since it borrows the elements of teams. You can play as a criminal, F.E.A.R. agent, or Resistance member. Each role comes with distinct quests to accomplish before gaining access to Aurora. Once you enter the city of Aurora, your parts come to life. As a F.E.A.R. agent, you can arrest criminals in the city.

Moreover, there are illegal ways to gain entry into the city. You can either blow up a part of the wall using C4, hack into the F.E.A.R. access control, or hack a door. Notably, you will need common + rarity pieces to achieve this.

1. Prison Life

ROBLOX Prison Life trailer 2017 (HEROES)

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be in prison? Scratch that. If you've watched the iconic TV show Prison Break, do you ever picture yourself as Michael Scoffield on a quest to break his brother out of prison? Well, Roblox has one such game that will have you thinking of the possibilities of a grand escape.

In Prison Life, there are three teams to choose from; prisoner, criminal, and guard. As a prisoner, your objective is to escape.

There are various ways to do so. You can either sneak out at night, kill all guards, or obtain the access key. Killing a guard will give you access to a gun, making it easy to eliminate any defensive forces.

Criminals are prisoners who manage to escape. As one, you can free other prisoners, kill guards, and not face the threat of arrest. Despite the criminal title and its perks, if you die as one, you'll respawn in prison as a prisoner, and it's back to the drawing board for you.

Moreover, as you might have guessed, the guards’ role is to contain the prisoners in prison. You can also arrest criminals. However, if you kill innocent criminals or prisoners (unarmed), you'll spawn as a prisoner. Moreover, you won't be able to rejoin the Guard team.
