The upcoming Forspoken video game (developed by Luminous Productions, having some developers who collaborated on Final Fantasy 15) is expected to be released on May 24, 2022. In Forspoken, the protagonist is Frey, a young woman from New York, in a hostile world of Athia. She has newfound magical abilities from a sentient bracelet and parkour to use against monstrous creatures. As for now, we know that Forspoken will be available on PS5 (PlayStation  5) and Microsoft Windows.

Another upcoming video game that is a fast-paced, action-adventure, is Sifu, set to be released in February 8, 2022. In the third-person video game, Sifu, you are a kung fu student, with the purpose of defeating the five assassin’s that brutally murdered your family. You possess a magical talisman, reviving you when you suffer a fatal injury in combat. After each resurrection, you will age a specific number of years and have another opportunity at hand-to-hand combat.

Sifu will be available for the following platforms: PS4 (PlayStation 4), PS5 (PlayStation 5), and Microsoft Windows. Okay. 5 fast-paced, action-adventure video games to play in 2022 are? 

5. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League: 

Besides the slow-motion effects in this third-person shooter, at moments, each character (in a featured four-player cooperative multiplayer mode),can be played, as if though someone pressed a fast-forward button. Amanda Waller’s Task Force X (the Suicide Squad) are the four DC Super-Villains: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang.

The Suicide Squad are laser-focused on destroying the city of Metropolis, which they once vowed to protect. Also, they are mindful that explosives are implanted in their heads, going off at the first sign of defiance.

Developed by Rocksteady Studios (the creators of the Batman: Arkham series) and soon to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, brings you  the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, in 2022. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be available on the following platforms: PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. 

4. Kingdom Hearts 3: 

While Kingdom Hearts 4 is rumored to have a 2023 release date, you can spend time playing Kingdom Hearts 3 (developed and published by Square Enix), which takes place in a Japan-like world. Kingdom Hearts 3 takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, with Sora (the protagonist), joined by King Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Riku. 

Quickly, you will find out that many Disney Park attractions are incorporated in this game, if it is your first time playing it. You will see a giant tea cup appearing in the Toy Box (Toy Story), which is a mini game. This attraction will reminds you of the Mad Tea Party (a spinning tea cup ride) at five of the six Disneyland-styled theme parks around the world.

The Mad Tea Party is an Alice in Wonderland themed ride at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Park (Paris), all located in Fantasyland. 

There are other in-game attractions (like Magic Carousel, Splash Run, Blaster Blaze, Mountain Coaster, and Pirate Ship). Also, Soro can use attacks inspired by various Disney rides.

Any Sonic the Hedgehog video game could be the best fast-paced, action-adventure, but to be to be fair, this list has love for other games as well. Number 3 on the list has to be League of Legends. The battle arena video game has over 140 champions (like Olaf, Annie, Fiora, Katarina, and more) to choose from and it is addicting.

The Legend of Heroes (also known as Eiyū Densetsu in Japan) is an RPG (role-playing video game. Cold Steel may not be everyone’s favorite The Legend of Heroes video game, but it is an exceptional fast-paced video game, where the attacks are up to par. The Legend of Heroes: Trail of Cold Steal II revolves around traveling the world and if you got tired of attending classes, this is The Legend of Heroes version for you. 

1. The Matrix: Path of Neo: 

Act surprised if you want, but Neo did a clever job in defying the laws of gravity. In The Matrix: Path of Neo, you fight against the security guards, the cops, the ordinary SWAT team, the special SWAT team, Ordinary Agents, Upgraded Agents, and Merovingian's men. You can literally control when you can use the slow-motion effect, which gives the regular speed a dramatic appearance. Also, there are moments where the fighting moves are lightning-fast.
