WWE 2K22 Superstar Roster List Revealed

After a two-year hiatus, WWE, the world’s biggest wrestling company, returns with WWE 2K22. The company took a break from releasing other series after the tumultuous release of WWE 2K20. The two-year hiatus has hopefully solved many of the problems that plagued the previous entry into the series.

WWE fans may be anxious to learn whether their favorite WWE superstar made the cut on the WWE 2K22 roster with only a few weeks to the game's release.

WWE has undoubtedly released a staggering number of WWE superstars over the last year, with more seemingly being released every few weeks. The latest trailer reveals Aj Styles, Damian Priest, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins.

WWE has had a strange 12 months, releasing more than 100 different superstars since the beginning of 2021. This is also on top of even more roster cuts that came unexpectedly in 2020.

Of course, this will have an impact on the WWE 2K22 roster list, as there will be fewer playable wrestlers than in previous iterations of the game.

Other wrestlers left the company on their own accord, joining WWE's main rival AEW. Some also retired or semi-retired legends accepted roles in AEW, implying that WWE would have to remove these wrestlers from its WWE 2K22 roster as well.

WWE 2K22 is expected to be a major release on the most popular platforms. These include the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC.

It's unclear how the previous-generation and current-generation versions will compare. However, if recent examples of other franchises are any indication, we expect to see a difference in visual fidelity, load times, and possibly included features.

WWE 2K22 will be released on March 11, 2022. Early access begins on March 8 for those purchasing the more expensive editions. However, the game will be available to everyone on March 11, 2022. Because of the cancellation and subsequent delays of 2K21, this differs from the traditional October release date of older titles.

WWE 2K22 will launch on March 11, 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
