Best Superstars in WWE 2K24

Bigger and better, WWE 2K24 adds exciting new features and changes, among them a more comprehensive roster to sink your teeth into. Sure, some superstars are missing from the main game, including Brok Lesnar and Vince McMahon. However, you still have a roster of over 200, with some of WrestleMania’s biggest names to maul over. Don’t stress, though, over who to choose. We’ve compiled the best superstars in WWE 2K24 to gun for.

5. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin 2001 – 96

 “Stone Cold” Steve Austin

You know him best by his stage name, ‘Stone Cold.’ While he may be retired now, back in the ‘90s, Steve Austin was a showstopper. In fact, he helped restore WWE to its former glory once upon a time. Remember the Steve Austin versus Bret Hart match in 1997? Stone Cold just kept going. He was spent but never gave up, so much so that the referee had to call it quits. You can relive this unforgettable match and unlock the 2001 Steve Austin version, which boasts a whopping 96 ratings.

Stone Cold may be a throwback superstar now. But WWE 2K24 rightfully rates him high based on his strength at the time. He was arguably one of the most prominent wrestlers championing WWE in a new era. Alternatively, if you’re looking just to push buttons, Stone Cold’s attitude ought to do the trick. He’s known for his disrespect for authority and brash attitude, making him the perfect anti-hero to break the rules with.

4. Rhea Ripley – 96

The WWE 2K franchise previously had an annoying habit of underrating female wrestlers. Now, women are gradually competing favorably with the male ratings, with Rhea Ripley leading the charge home. Like in the real world, Ripley is an unstoppable force. She’s currently a member of The Judgement Day stable and is the present Women’s World Champion in her first reign. She dominates the ring with ease and puts up incredible performances that are etched in memory.

With the Women’s World Championship under her belt, Ripley is an easy choice. She boasts a fierce determination to stand out and is unapologetic about taking over the red brand. Past games rated Rhea Ripley highly, with WWE 2K24 marking the highest 96 ratings so far. Along with a massive fanbase and a feature on the cover of the Deluxe edition, Ripley is a star on the rise that guarantees you several wins to take home. Regardless of gender, she’s one of the best superstars on the WWE 2K24 roster.

3. (The) Undertaker 2009 – 96

Undertaker 2009 - 96 Superstars in WWE 2K24

Often mysterious and deadly, The Undertaker is a definite choice among the best superstars in WWE 2K24. The game has different versions with different ratings. However, we’d argue the 2009 version is the best. He quickly scooped up wins to maintain a steady 21-year streak at WWE before losing to Brock Lesnar. Though you can't hold that loss against him, Brock Lesnar is a beast, too. By then, The Undertaker was an international sensation who was never afraid to pull the most treacherous tricks to maintain his fearsome reputation.

If you want to experience the gush of energy in The Undertaker’s shoes, just wait until the renowned Undertaker versus Shawn Michaels match. The Undertaker still wins, but boy, does he execute the most devastating choke slams and tombstone pile drivers in one of the most legendary matches ever. It arguably brought out The Undertaker’s terrifying persona in the best way, lest you dared to forget. Besides Michaels, you’ll take on other superstars, such as Steve Austin, Mankind, and Kane, to name a few. The Undertaker seldom loses and holds an outstanding legacy in his career. The dead man lives on.

2. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson 2001 – 96

Another one of the best WWE superstars and considerable threats in the ring is The Rock. He may have transitioned into Hollywood, but by letting his softer side loose on television, The Rock played no games in the ring. He led the charge, skyrocketing WWE to fame, thanks, in part, to his excellent performances throughout WWE history. It’s no surprise The Rock is doing so well in Hollywood, given his WWE-catching signature brow, witty catchphrases, and compelling personality. He easily packed arenas to the brim, carving the legend status of all time.

You want the 2001 version of The Rock that holds the highest 96 rating. Besides immense strength, The Rock piles up several eccentric matches, some of which he loses, but remains a champion simply because of an outstanding career stretching over decades. The Rock has duked it out with several high-profile superstars in the WWF and scooped up the first of several world championship titles as early as 1998. Now, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may be fully dedicated to acting. But do not let the bright Hollywood lights and tribal-inspired tattoos fool you. He’s still a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

1. Roman Reigns “The Tribal Chief” – 97

Roman Reigns Superstars in WWE 2K24

You guessed it. Roman Reigns remains the top champion to shoot for. He may have seemed overpowered in previous games. In WWE 2k23, he was rated at an optimum 99/100. So, in response, WWE 2k24 has pulled down his previous staggering score to 97, which is still pretty high compared to other wrestlers. And rightly so. Roman Reigns remains undefeated in the ring. He’s the current dominant factor and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

As such, it makes absolute sense to want the Tribal Chief on your side. You’re guaranteed to win, with the in-game counterpart mimicking the unstoppable force he is in real life. Significantly few wrestlers will climb up to Roman Reigns’ level of strength and sheer will. He almost always wins matches and is, for better or worse, a champion. The fact that he’s still performing under the SmackDown brand only adds to the incentive to walk in his shoes.
