Travel To Earth and Play Golf In Golf Club: Wasteland

In Golf Club: Wasteland, Earth is wiped out and for the ultra-rich, a golf course is affordable. When you focus on swinging a golf ball into a hole slowly in a nearby hole, now, it is going to be extra slow. The future is full of solitude and some people would be content with that type of environment, (but it is just a cozy-apocalypse due to consumerism, Silicon Valley culture, and ecological disaster).

During your gameplay, a smooth-talking radio DJ broadcasting from Mars and his callers try convincing others that life is not completely awful. You are one of the rich people on Mars, so it cannot be too awful, but you would prefer to travel back to Earth to play golf. Originally, Golf Club: Wasteland was set to launch in August and it is unsurprising that the date got changed. Many game dates are getting changed. Soon, on September 3, 2021, Golf Club Wasteland will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 (PlayStation 4), Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Microsoft Windows.

After the rich fled to Mars, you venture back to a desolate Earth for a round of golf. Every hole in the wasteland offers its own story and a possible puzzle to sink the perfect shot. You get to play golf in crumbling shopping malls, destroyed, brutalist monuments, and abandoned museums (where there are neon lights and graffiti). In this 2D side-scroller, travel through abandoned factories and what appears to be a literal Bitcoin mine.

Golf Club Wasteland – New Gameplay Today

At least when you play golf in space, you may imagine skipping around like a child and performing cartwheels, but the gameplay seems to be mainly focused on golf in space. Included with every copy of the game, is the 2-hour, digital Golf Club: Wasteland Soundtrack, plus a 55-page Graphic Novel Art Book (expanding the backstory of Charley). There is an option to pre-order the game.
