PlayStation Plus June 2021 Games Potentially Leaked

It's almost time for Sony to announce the next batch of free games for both PS4 and PS5, as part of the acclaimed PlayStation Plus plan. However, with only a matter of days before Sony make the call on what's to come, a credible leaker has suddenly approached the bench with what is believed to be the June line-up in its entirety. Of course, as with any leaker that stems from the pits of the web — details surrounding the news can always be taken with a slight grain of salt.

According to Areajugones, a fairly well-known source who's just so happened to predict other happenings in the gaming industry — has recently shed light on the Sony platform. Claiming to know what's in store for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the leaker has submitted the three entries that are expected to land in a matter of days.

Star Wars: Squadrons – Official Reveal Trailer

What's in store for next month?

Headlining the spool is Star Wars: Squadrons, a multiplayer hit that fuses intergalactic ship combat with remarkable backdrops that stem from the beloved franchise. On top of that, the leaker also put forward both Operation: Tango, a PS5 underdog title that puts co-op play at the centre of its chest — and Virtua Fighter 5, also known as Ultimate Showdown. As well as spanning the PS4 and PS5 platforms, there will also be some VR compatible content to line the releases. At least that's what we're being led to believe, anyway.

While the mentioned titles aren't quite the batch Sony fans were whispering about over the course of May, there's definitely a lot of interest with these three potentials. Of course, we won't get the official update for a little while yet, and it's always subject to change, of course. Even still, if the leak rings true — then June will be shaping up to be a pretty solid month for PlayStation users. But we'll see about that in due course.
