Microsoft Unveils Xbox Game Pass Core Lineup for Launch

Microsoft has announced a full lineup of games for the Xbox Game Pass Core, which is set to launch on September 14th. 

It will replace Xbox Live Gold and provide gamers with a comprehensive package, including multiplayer gaming, a diverse game library, and exclusive member discounts.

According to a blog post on the official Xbox Wire blog, the Xbox Game Pass Core library boasts a total of 36 titles, available for both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles. 

These games include a variety of offerings, including titles from Microsoft's first-party developers, Bethesda Games, and a selection of third-party options. The company initially announced a line up of 25 games, which has expanded to 36 at launch.

Microsoft has plans to update the Game Pass Core library regularly to ensure that players will continue to receive excellent value for their subscription. 

In addition to multiplayer gaming and a wide selection of games, Xbox Game Pass Core members will have access to exclusive deals and discounts, as well as the popular Free Play Days promotion.

The pricing for Xbox Game Pass Core remains unchanged from Xbox Live Gold, with a monthly subscription of $10 or an annual subscription of $60. 

This transition from Xbox Live Gold to Xbox Game Pass Core is seamless for existing members, with no required changes in payment or membership adjustments. Anyone currently subscribed to Xbox Live Gold will automatically become an Xbox Game Pass Core member on September 14th, giving them immediate access to the exciting new features and game library.
