Marvel’s Midnight Suns New Release Date Revealed  

Marvel's Midnight Suns release date has been announced after several delays. The initial release date was March, which the developers changed to October. The game was later delayed to an unspecified time in publisher 2K's fiscal year ending March 2023. 

A new trailer for the superhero XCOM card game from Firaxis revealed a revised release date at Disney's D23 expo. The trailer features several well-known characters in action, such as Blade, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. Additionally, the trailer gives a glimpse into what you'll be doing in-between missions, such as chit-chatting with your fellow soldiers. 

According to the trailer, you'll also be able to create your own characters in Midnight Suns. However, it looks like a lot of the major characters from the MCU movies will make an appearance as well. Iron Man, Captain America, and Dr. Strange appear in the trailer, too.

The trailer also showcased the gameplay and some of the attacks. In addition, some of the cards that players can utilize in combat, along with their activated appearance, are featured in the trailer. Fans also got to see several spectacular battle scenes featuring the Marvel characters. 

Marvel's Midnight Suns New Release Date

Midnight Suns will launch on December 2, 2022, for the PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. Last-generation system users will, however, have to wait a bit longer as the title won't launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch until 2023. 

Firaxis, the developer of Midnight Suns, announced the game in August last year. The title is a superhero strategy game that follows a cast of well-known characters on an adventure that combines turn-based combat, card battles, and Fire-Emblem-style relationship building. The game takes inspiration from the Midnight Sons comic book run from the mid-1990s.

Players who pre-order the game will receive a Doctor Stranger costume. The developers also revealed that  The superheroes will start releasing prequel shorts on October 31, 2022, displaying each of their unique characteristics.
