Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition Is Heading to PS5 and PC
Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West is finally getting that all-important Complete Edition that fans have been itching for since the game’s 2022 debut. And the good news is, it’ll be arriving on PlayStation 5 as early as October 6, 2023. What’s more, it’ll also be available for $59.99, which is significantly cheaper than, well, most other deluxe editions of popular exclusives on PlayStation.
At the time of writing, the aforementioned edition hasn’t been given a release date on PC. That said, the devs have gone as far as to let players know that it will arrive at some point in early 2024. So, if you’ve yet to experience the award-winning sequel in its entirety, then you’ve got plenty to look forward to in the next several months when it plants roots on consoles and PC.

As a reminder, Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn. The upcoming collection will include both the follow-up chapter in the two-piece series, as well as the Burning Shores DLC.
”Following the events of Horizon Zero Dawn, machine hunter Aloy races to save the planet's crumbling biosphere before vicious storms and a mysterious, unstoppable blight ravages the remnants of humanity,” reads the elevator pitch. “Her mission and the sinister secrets it uncovers will pit Aloy against ever-deadlier foes, taking her to the dangerous frontier of the Forbidden West and the treacherous Burning Shores beyond.”
