The Xbox Series X|S is a console that has gained a library of great titles to its name. These games range in scope and scale but offer players a stellar gaming experience. In addition, the performance of this console is comparable to higher-end PCs around the same price point. That being said, there are games on this console that players should have in their libraries. So without further ado, here is 5 Essential Xbox Series X|S Games Coming Out This November.

5. Gundam Evolution

Are you ready to blast away at enemies with your favorite mechs from the Gundam series? If so, then Gundam Evolution has you covered. The game features many different mechs from its famous anime. Players are split up into teams of six and face off in objective-based team-oriented gameplay. There are many game modes to play, such as Point Capture, in which the goal is to capture a point before the opposing team does, and Domination, which works similarly to how to play in other games.

The game also features a special game mode called Destruction. This game mode pits two teams against each other as they fight over weapons of mass destruction. Players should note that the free game will be released on November 30th, 2022. For players looking for a more competitive experience, there are ranked playlists for Gundam Evolution that are sure to whet your appetite for competition. All in all, Gundam Evolution has the series' stylistic flair and solid game mechanics. These features make it one of the Xbox Series X|S games releasing this month.

4. Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers is the series's first foray into the open-world genre. This decision has been met with polarizing opinions, but the franchise hopes to take sonic in a new direction for a new generation of fans. The game features the blue hedgehog in much the same way we have seen him in past games, going very fast, collecting rings, and defeating enemies. This time, however, Sonic exists within an open world that changes the way the gameplay is presented.

Players will use their platforming and puzzling skills to unlock different areas within the Starfall Islands, the new location for the game. Completionists will adore this title for those who seek that elusive one hundred percent. Players are rewarded for doing a lot of this extra legwork as well. There are a ton of collectibles to collect throughout your travels as the speedy hedgehog. The progression system within the game sees players gathering experience points by defeating enemies and using these to level up Sonic. Altogether, Sonic Frontiers hopes to remain true to its roots while innovating on a beloved franchise.

3. Evil West

Evil West is a game that, based on aesthetic alone, is reminiscent of DarkWatch. The cowboy vampire hunter theme has been around since the PlayStation 2 era leading many fans to draw the comparison. However, where this game differentiates itself is in the gruesome combat and unique enemy designs. Players fond of the Wild West theme will no doubt connect with this game. The gameplay seen in trailers has been very smooth and fluid but still retains its grittiness.

Players can weave in and out of ranged and up-close combat rather seamlessly, which is always a good feeling in games. The creature designs within the game are also rather striking, leaving an impression after viewing them. There appears to be an extensive skill tree in which players can level up their abilities and make them more effective. You can also take advantage of elemental attacks within the game to significant effect. In conclusion, Evil West is a game that should not fly under the player's radar when it releases. Evil West features smooth combat and oozes style. This title is essential for players' libraries.

2. WRC GenerationsWRC Generations Review

WRC Generations is a racing game that is committed to realism. This game wants to show the ins and out of rally racing in a way that captures it as clearly as possible. As a result, the game features more tracks set in twenty-two different countries and a plethora of new rally cars to race. The graphical fidelity in which these courses and vehicles are shown is breathtaking. The most significant change from former entries in the series is incorporating hybrid engines into the game.

Players who choose to run these hybrid cars will have to keep an eye on their battery level throughout the course. Managing this factor adds an element to the game that has not been seen before. This series is by far the forerunner in rally games, so if players are looking for a commitment to quality and realism, this is it. In closing, WRC Generations hopes to impress players by showing how stunning a rally game can be. This game was released on the Xbox Series X|S on November 3rd, 2022.

1. Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is a behemoth of a title. The free-to-play juggernaut is slated for release on November 16th, 2022. This game is a standalone from Call of Duty‘s major release this year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. One feature of this new and improved version of Warzone is that multiple circles within the map will collapse on players as the round goes on. This adds an element of surprise and tension, as you don't know where or when these will pop up until they appear on the map.

Another innovation made to the Warzone formula is the inclusion of AI combatants. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will include areas known as Strongholds, in which AIs will hole up and defend against players. This can be advantageous to players as loot will be stored inside these strongholds that players can use. Players who wish to play cross-platform will find that these features carry over from the first iteration of Warzone. The new map, dubbed Al Mazrah, is a massive, sprawling desert landscape broken up by rivers and hills. There are also entire villages that can be explored and looted throughout the map. In closing, Call of Duty  Warzone 2.0 will take up many players' time this November making it one of the essential Xbox Series X|S games.
