Though it may not appear so at first glance, puzzle games are a huge hit on PSVR. That's because the system transformed the genre by allowing players to immerse themselves deeper into the artwork, soundtracks, and mind-bending gameplay of the genre. This only adds to the evidence that VR truly is the future of gaming, with enormous potential for what comes in the next couple of years, five years, and a decade. So, with the PSVR 2 on the cusp of its release, let's look back at the best puzzle games on PlayStation's debut VR headset. But beware, challenges lie ahead.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes - Launch Trailer [PS VR]

Steel Crate Games' Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes tasks one player with disarming a bomb while the other players instruct them on how to do so by reading from the bomb-disarming instruction manual. Sounds simple enough. The catch, however, is that the players reading the manual cannot see the bomb, and the defuser cannot see the manual. As a result, some fantastic moments occur, which are typically chaotic and result in a time-pressed yelling match. This game is best played with friends to see how well you perform under pressure while communicating clearly and precisely, as any mistake can set off the bomb.

The controls are simple for a PSVR game and the puzzles are entertaining but high stakes nonetheless. It differs from the other puzzle games on PSVR in that only one copy is needed, making it ideal for couch co-op or party games. Because it is so unique and tirelessly fun, this puzzle game has easily claimed a spot as one of the best puzzle games on PSVR.
