A New South Park Game Has Been Teased

THQ Nordic's latest digital showcase has shed light on a number of upcoming games, including one rather cryptic entry that appears to be a new South Park game.

It has been a good few years since Ubisoft served up the cult-classic action role-playing game, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and to say fans have been longing for a third game would only be an understatement. The fact is, fans of the critically acclaimed franchise have been barking up Ubisoft's tree ever since it dropped, only to have little consolation in return.

Fortunately, today marks a new chapter in the South Park universe. Thanks to THQ Nordic's recent digital showcase, fans can once again look forward to delving back into the snowy boots of Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny. The only problem is, well, we don't quite know the details about the upcoming game, of even when it'll release for that matter. What we do know, however, is that it is in the works, and it is definitely coming to consoles and PC.

What Did THQ Announce?

Unfortunately, the South Park reveal wasn't carried out in the traditional sense. Instead of giving away a boatload of details and gameplay footage, THQ simply chose to reveal the South Park Studios crest at the end of the presentation. Though, of course, that was more than enough to get diehard fans onboard for whatever is to come, be it another role-playing game or a blockbuster shooter.

Until more information on the game comes about, we'll have to bide our time by keeping a close eye on THQ Nordic and its associated developers. Should anything come our way, then we'll be sure to let you know.
