5 Characters That Should Be In A Mario Kart Game

Oh, Mario Kart 64 is one of the top racing games of all time and it was released on December 14, 1996. One could say they favor Mario Kart 7 or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Maybe Super Mario Kart (1992), the first ever Mario Kart game, is your favorite racing game. To avoid confusion, here are the Mario Kart games in order: Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, and Mario Kart Tour. 

In Mario Kart 8, you can play as Mario, Baby Mario, Metal Mario, Peach, Baby Peach, Pink Gold Peach, Luigi, Baby Luigi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Toad, Yoshi, Toadette, Daisy, and more. You can even play as Link from The Legend of Zelda series as a DLC (downloadable content) character.

The adorable Pikachu is most people’s favorite Pokemon. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pikachu is a yellow, fun-loving, playable character. He (and yes, Pikachu is a male) would be multiple time more awesome if he was I included to the Mario Kart series with his crush, Buneary, just so they can focus on being competitive. At least add Buneary in the crowd, cheering on Pikachu. Electrocute Bowser on your way to saying, “Pika! Pikachu!” That is called PikaSpeak, from a 2009 episode of Pokemon, called Stealing The Conversation! Let’s talk about some of the characters that should be in a Mario Kart game.  

5. CatDog: 

Yay! Just dump some Nicktoons on the list of characters that we would not mind being in a Mario Kart game. Who would not want the opportunity to switch between controlling Cat and Dog during a racing gameplay?

4. SpongeBob SquarePants: 

Absorb attacks and the water can give your resilient character strength. The developers are surely creative enough to think of how SpongeBob can live outside of the Bikini Bottom, let alone, liquid substance, to race against others. If SpongeBob (the one who lives in a pineapple) was to ever race against Mario, it would make Mrs. Puff (the puffer fish) instantly elated. 

3. Tasmanian Devil: 

The ferocious carnivore, Tasmanian Devil (from Warner Bros. Looney Tunes) versus Pikachu is enough of a reason to purchase a Mario Kart game. Spin in circles and form a formidable tornado on your race to victory. 

2. Angry Beavers:

If Pikachu never met Mario in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, he would undoubtedly be first on the list. We know how Angry Beavers (Norbert and Daggett) race from Nicktoons Racing (2000), but what if they were in the same environment as Mario?

1. Among Us Crew Members: 

Since your Among Us character is decided by you and there are 12 Among Us characters with distinct colors (black, blue, brown, purple, red, white, orange, yellow, green, pink, cyan, and lime), that leaves more options for you. Maybe if Mario Kart ever included the pint-sized Among Us crew mates, they would all be on a spaceship, temporarily converted to a go-kart.
