What is The Sinking City 2?

The Sinking City 2 is a chilling Lovecraftian adventure set in the flooded city of Arkham. It is a sequel to the original 2019 release, The Sinking City, set in Oakmont City. Just as its predecessor, the second entry promises to continue with the scary atmosphere the players have already grown accustomed to. 

However, the sequel seems to go in a slightly different direction. Veering off of its predecessor's investigative themes, it will lean more towards being a survival horror game. Players will navigate through the waterlogged streets of Arkham, confronting the scary creatures moving across the city. 

Story

The Sinking City immersed players in a Lovecraftian investigative narrative as Charles Reeds uncovered the mysteries of Oakmont City. Charles follows a scary path to discover the forces behind his nightmares. 

Conversely, in The Sinking City 2, things will be slightly different. Instead of focusing mainly on solving mysteries, its focus will bend more towards being a survival horror game. This means that you'll have to deal with deeply scarier situations and engage in more combat.

Additionally, in the upcoming game, players will be forced to find a way to survive against dangerous threats. All this while exploring the spooky world of the flooded city of Arkham. It's all about staying alive and facing your fears in a chilling and intense experience.

Characters 

The game features Charles Reed, the protagonist, a former Navy diver and private investigator. Like in the prequel, he is the character with whom players guide. Playing as Reed, gamers will meet various inhabitants of Arkham, each with their own stories and secrets to uncover.

The game also features NPCs who may aid Charles on his journey by providing valuable information, assistance, or quests to progress the story. Such a scary city cannot lack weird, terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows. Therefore, expect a bunch of spine-chilling monsters to come after you in the game.

Gameplay

While specific details about the gameplay of The Sinking City 2 are yet to be unveiled, it's expected to build upon the foundation established by its predecessor. However, following the scanty details at hand, players should anticipate a mix of action, exploration and survival horror elements as they navigate the flooded streets of Arkham.

So, you must fight off enemies to survive the challenges of the flooded city.
