Chipstars, launched in 2020, is a fantastic crypto casino and sportsbook with loads to offer. At the top of the homepage, there is a quick toggle button that allows you to switch between casino and sportsbook, and both are really well organised. This casino and sportsbook accepts cryptocurrencies, and not just a handful, but 12 different currencies. It is extremely versatile, with over 7,000 games, an extensive sportsbook, and even online poker rooms. That’s right, you can do it all at Chipstars, making it one of the very few operators that provides all three services – and accepts cryptocurrencies.

- Accepts 12 Cryptocurrencies

Casino Games
In the casino lobby, Chipstars has categories for New, Slots, Megaways, Bonus Buy, Table Games and Virtual Games. There is a search tool with which you can find specific games, and a drop down provider filter, which has the name of every game provider in the casino’s portfolio, along with how many games it has from them in its portfolio. Excellent stuff, and to top it off, there is an info button on all game thumbnails, that brings up a screen with the game’s name, provider, whether it has bonus buy, and what category the game falls into. There is not much more we could ask for on that front.
Slots:
Opening up the provider filter, you will find all the top slots developers. Betsoft, Kalamba, NetEnt, Nolimit, Pragmatic Play, Playson, Quickspin and Red Tiger are just a few of the most well known slots providers. The library of slots at Chipstars includes games of all themes and formats. Whether you want to stick to classic 3-reel slots, go for 5-reel video slots with extra features, or try out some arcade slots with massive grids and cascading reels, Chipstars has it all. The bonus buy category brings you all the slots with the option to buy straight into the bonus feature. If you are unsure about a game, then try the demo version, then buy the bonus feature using virtual credits and see how it pans out. If you like it, then you can play with real money and try to win that bonus in regular gameplay. The only thing that Chipstars could do to improve its slots is include a jackpot category.
Table Games:
Chipstars has a good bulk of table games, including plenty of titles from Merkur, Betsoft, Irondog and Pragmatic Play, amongst others. The selection of Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Poker is outstanding. You can try out traditional versions of these games, or go for variants such as Supreme 777 Jackpots Blackjack, Magic Baccarat or Ultra Warp x5,000 Roulette.
Live Games:
The live casino lobby presents you with categories for Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Other. Just like the table games, the number of live casino games is very pleasing, with tonnes of interesting variants and plenty of titles from different providers. This is important because each developer puts their own spin on the game, whether it is graphics, side bets, min/max stake or any other aspect that brings the games to life. In the “Other” category, there are some captivating titles such as Fortune Finder, Cash or Crash, Video Poker and Card Matchup. Some of the live games here are game show titles, but there are a lot of exotic casino games too.
Other Games:
Jumping back a bit, there was a Virtual Games category in the main casino lobby. Opening that selection of games bring you to a wild range of alternative casino titles. Crash games, mines, Plinko and lotto games are just the tip of the iceberg. Surprisingly, there are over 100 games in this category, which we will call Instant Win Games to avoid any confusion. 100 instant win games is not bad for any casino, and it is a perfect way to make Chipstars stand out.
Poker Rooms:
The casino is called Chipstars, therefore you will naturally think of poker. Yes, there are lots of poker rooms at Chipstars, and you will find no shortage of action in them. On the Chipstars poker lobby, you can choose between Hold’em, Omaha and Short Deck poker. For Hold’em and Short Deck, you can pick between Fixed, Pot Limit and No Limit games. Within Omaha Poker, you have the choice of Omaha poker, Omaha High/Low, 5-Card Omaha, 5-Card Omaha High/Low and Courchevel. There are games with lower and higher blinds, so you can always find a table no matter what your budget is. It all sounds amazing, but that is not all! Chipstars also has poker tournaments, Sit & Go rooms and Poker Spins, which all change the dynamic and keep you on your toes.
Sports Betting
The sportsbook at Chipstars is not the biggest you will ever come across, but it does do the essentials. You can pick from over 15 sports to bet on, including e-Football, and a number of niche sports. Though the sports coverage is not as big as it could be, the betting markets for individual games and competitions are gigantic. There are loads of bets to pick from, and Chipstars even has an Odds Boost category where you can check out which bets have enhanced odds.
Sports Coverage:
The most prominent sports at Chipstars Sportsbook are football, tennis, basketball, American football, ice hockey, baseball and table tennis. You can bet on competitions in these sports from anywhere in the world, although there will not be as many betting markets on the Greek A1 basketball league as there are on the NBA in the US. That is quite understandable, and not at all uncommon. The betting markets on football are the best, as you can find more than 600 bets on individual games in the biggest leagues.
Betting and Bet Slip:
The bet slip at Chipstars has some unique features and tools for bettors, but there are also a few things it lacks. You can make parlay bets, single bets, or system bets, the latter of which can be used to make parlays where 1 or more selections can fail, and you can still win. The one thing it is missing is the option to form round robin bets, which advanced bettors may miss. On the plus side, there is a calculator tool with which you can calculate the odds of your parlay. This helps you figure out exactly what you are missing to get the exact odds you need or to bring your potential prize up to the amount you want.
Licensing and Regulation
Chipstars is operated by Games & More BV, a company that is registered on the Dutch island of Curacao. It holds a licence with the Curacao Gaming Authority, which is a respected organisation that is accepted in many countries across the world. The Curacao Gaming Authority runs a tight ship; all casinos and sportsbooks that are licensed by this regulator need to abide by strict laws that protect players. All the games at Chipstars Casino are approved by iTech Labs and GLI.
Not all countries accept the Curacao Gaming Licence, which means that Chipstars cannot offer its services to all players. If you are based in the Netherlands, USA, France, Italy, Singapore, Curacao or Aruba, then you cannot play at Chipstars. You cannot use a VPN either, as this breaches the terms and conditions of the casino and sportsbook.
Payment Options
You can make deposits and withdrawals from a variety of electronic payment services at Chipstars. The internal currency of the casino is EUR, but you can also play. Chipstar supports the following cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, LTC, BNB, XRP, DOGE, USDT, ADA, XMR, SOL, TRX and USD coin.
- AstroPay
- VISA – Only deposits
- Skrill
- Paysafecard
- Neteller
- Crypto transactions
Withdrawals on average take 0-24hrs, but sometimes up to 4 days, and they are only processed on weekdays.
Customer Support
Chipstars is available in the following languages: English, German, Serbian, Croatian, Portuguese and Turkish. Its customer support works in these languages too, and you can reach out to them using the live chat platform. The live chat is available 24/7 so you can rely on them at any time of the day. The live chat has extremely timely response times and can be used by both registered members at Chipstars and also by visitors who are just checking out the site. If you have any questions before you are planning to sign up, then feel free to ask them.
You can also send the support staff an email if that is more comfortable. Once again, the support is available 24/7 but you may have to wait for a bit longer for email replies. There is also a FAQ on the website, but this only covers the basics. For specific queries, it is always better to contact a support agent – better safe than sorry.
Mobile Availability
The Chipstars website uses HTML5 software, so you can access it on any platform you like. Furthermore, it has an app for Windows and MacOS that is specially for poker rooms. From there, you can easily jump into any cash game or tournament, and start playing immediately. If that is not enough, there are also mobile apps for gamers to access these poker games on their phones. The app allows gamers to make secure payments into and out of their gaming accounts, and access all the wondrous games that are on offer.
Summary
Chipstars does very well to combine a competitive casino, extensive sportsbook and delightful poker room together. Also supporting cryptocurrency, this site will please many gamers.
That being said, there are a few areas that it could tweak. The payment options, aside from the crypto, are a bit limited. Also, you should note that there are country restrictions.
However, those small issues have not put off the masses of gamers who have already signed up for Chipstars. You could be the next one too, if you follow our link and check it out for yourself.
