PlayStation Plus October 2021 Games Potentially Leaked

PlayStation Plus is on the brink of rolling out the October freebies, with only a few days left before making the official announcement on what's to come. Before Sony seal the deal, as per the usual routine, leakers will scrape the barrel for all the possibilities prior to the big day.

One leaker in particular, having already guessed September's line-up correctly, has recently pitched in to October's batch, claiming that subscribers will soon have access to Hell Let Loose, Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21. According to the source, Hell Let Loose will be for PS5 users, whereas both Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21 will release for PS4 players.

As always, we like to take these claims with a few pinches of salt. Though going by the accuracy of the previous claim from the same leaker — it's definitely something that's worth looking into. And if it turns out to be true — then PlayStation players should be set for a pretty solid month of free games.

What's available this month?

At present, PlayStation Plus subscribers can download Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds. All of these will be available to add to your library until October 4th, where the batch will once again make way for the next collection.

Take from this what you will, but it seems like a pretty legitimate claim. Of course, you're always welcome to swing over to view the leakers credentials for yourself here. But seeing as Sony tend to unleash all the details surrounding the freebies over the next week or so, it might just be worth hanging fire until the real thing comes around. Your call!

So, what do you make of the October PlayStation Plus line-up? Are you happy with the offerings? Let us know over on our socials here. You can pick up your monthly subscription to PlayStation Plus for $9.99.
