PewDiePie Has Officially Relocated to Japan

PewDiePie, arguably the richest YouTuber, has officially moved to Japan. For quite some time, PewDiePie had been planning this move. Fans would know that he had expressed his wish on multiple occasions. He'd tell his viewers how much he liked the country and would like to dwell there.

The big step came in 2019 when the Swedish YouTuber bought a house in Japan. However, paperwork and the pandemic delayed the actual moving process. As there was a ban on international travel, PewDiePie had to wait for 3 whole years before the situation was mitigated.

Finally, last week, PewDiePie posted a video titled “It finally happened!” and shared the last bits of the moving procedure. As one of his pet dogs had health issues, he was not comfortable with the cargo option. The pet was too large to be carried in the plane cabin. So PewDiePie took a private jet to Japan.

It finally happened!

The YouTuber recorded the entire flight and kept telling the viewers that he was stressed out and wished that everything goes smooth for him, his wife, and his dogs.

On March 17 this year, PewDiePie posted a video titled “We're going! We're finally approved.” The clip was about him and his wife MarziaPie's visa applications getting approved. This is where the YouTuber's entire journey began as visa approvals had been suspended during the pandemic.

In yet another recent video “What's next?” PewDiePew explained his move to Japan in great detail. He also discussed why he had moved to the country. Later on in the clip, he also admits if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn't do it because it has been quite difficult.

As for his future plans, PewDiePie intends to keep making videos. He commented that he'd make meaningful videos and not make them for the sake of making them.
