Life is Strange 3 — Is It Happening?

A new job posting suggests Deck Nine Games is currently working on the next instalment to the Life is Strange saga.

Life is Strange 3 could be in the cards, according to a recent job posting over at Deck Nine Games. Going by the job advert, the company is on the hunt for a Lead Programmer, one who possessed the skills to work on “an unannounced AAA single-player adventure game.”

Unfortunately, the name of the project isn't actually mentioned in the job description. This isn't exactly unusual, though, as studios don't tend to make a habit out of letting too many details about the actual game slip. That said, the studio was responsible for Life is Strange: True Colors, the latest entry in the story-driven series. And so, if there's any particular studio that's likely to develop a sequel — it's Deck Nine Games. And if it isn't Deck Nine, then a close alternative would be Dontnod, the original Paris-based firm.

Is Life is Strange 3 Coming Soon?

So, has Deck Nine found the suitable candidate? Well, we're not actually sure yet. It seems, though, that the posting has been taken down since VeryAli Gaming first reported on it. Therefore, you should definitely take this with a grain of salt, as there's just no telling what the developer is working on.

Whatever the case, a new Life is Strange game seems likely, what with it being the highly successful saga that it is. Question is, will it be the long-awaited third major instalment, or will it be another spin-off, similar to that of True Colors? Only time will tell on that one, it seems.
