Cyberpunk 2077: What Does Patch 1.2 Include?

After what felt like an endless wave of attacks on CD Projekt Red these past few months, the studio has finally gotten back on track with a slew of fixes on Cyberpunk 2077. Patch 1.2, which was originally scheduled to arrive in February, has finally been released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC users. The bad news is that Google Stadia players will have to hang fire for another few days before it makes its way to the platform. Even still, any update is good, right?

Of course, with the cyber attack which involved a lot of CD Projekt's source codes being stolen last month, the improvements to Cyberpunk 2077 were put on hold. Luckily for us, however, the game is back on point as of today. That's right, Cyberpunk 2077 might just be out of the unplayable mess state and on track to becoming just another spectacular title from the minds behind The Witcher. But, you know — baby steps.

So, what is patch 1.2, and what does it include?

Well, for starters, you're not going to be seeing any floating objects or ragdoll NPCs anymore. Or at least not as much, anyway. In fact, with over 100 fixes sewn into the patch, it's looking as though Cyberpunk 2077 might just be gearing up to become everything CD Projekt Red dreamt it would be.

Included in the patch is a spool of amendments to the core story, as well as a few major tweaks to the environment, characters and quest chains. One thing we couldn't help but notice was, of course, the ability to purchase cat food from various Night City stores in order to adopt Nibbles. There's that, and, you know — actual noteworthy fixes. But you can catch the full list of fixes here.

Oh, and you might want to free up some space on your hard drive for this one — seeing as it's a whopping 44GB. And yes, that is almost the size of the actual game. You can decide whether that's a good thing or not as you idle by for the updates to download.

Patch 1.2 will be going live on Google Stadia later this week. You can pick up Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One/X & S, PS4/5, Google Stadia and PC.
