Applying combos when fighting your enemies in Tekken 8 helps make your hits effective, taking a decent chunk off your opponents’ health bars. It is also strategic, as it can boost your strengths and minimize your weaknesses.

All playable characters in Tekken 8 can apply multiple combos. Some combos are simple, while others are complex. Additionally, some combos make a bigger impact on your opponents than others. Here is an overview of the ten best combos in Tekken 8 and commands for executing them.

10. Agony Spear – Kazuya

Kazuya is one of the slower characters in Tekken 8, so he lacks the speed to poke at his opponents. However, he is good at breaking his opponents’ defenses, and the Agony Spear combo is especially effective.

The Agony Spear combo came out in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. It opens with a fast front kick to the upper body, quickly followed by a left punch to the same part and a knee to the midsection. The hits are strong and have 12, 10, and 17 damage ratings, respectively. Interestingly, you can also perform a Crouch Dash move after making the second hit.

Command: 3,1,4

9. Leg Whip Mars Attack Flip – Eddy Gordo

Eddy Gordo can make fast strikes, enabling him to pull off complex combos like the Leg Whip Mars Attack Flip. The combo opens with a powerful roundhouse right kick to the head, followed by another right kick to the midsection, and then closes with two more consecutive right and left kicks to the same region. It is also worth noting that you can also use this move with Tiger Jackson and Christie Monteiro in all of their appearances.

Command: b+4,4,3+4

8. Kisshin Rekko – Jin Kazama

Jin Kazama can pull off many effective combos, including the Kisshin Rekko. The combo opens with a kick to the opponent’s head, a successive left punch to the upper body, and a powerful kick to the lower body. The hits are stunning and have 19, 7, and 18 damage ratings, respectively. It is also worth noting that you can also hold forward (F) to transition to a Zenshin after the second hit.

Command: 3,1,4

7. Demon’s Wrath – Kazuya Mishima

Demon’s Wrath is simple and so quick that it doesn’t appear as effective at first. It comprises a left roundhouse kick to the head, quickly followed by a left punch to the face. Next comes a right kick to the ankles and, finally, a left jab to the ribs. However, it has a considerable impact on your opponents’ health, with 15, 10, 10, and 15 damage ratings, respectively.

Command: b+3,1,4,1

6. Laser Crush – Devil Jin

The Laser Crush is one of Devil Jin’s most powerful combos with a significant impact on opponents’ health. The combo focuses on the upper body and midsection. It opens with two roundhouse right and left punches to the midsection. It then closes with a powerful spinning kick to the opponent’s head, knocking them to the ground. Interestingly, you can also perform a Laser Blast immediately after this combo by pressing 1+2, but only if Heat is active.

Command: b,f+2,1,4

5. Palm Strike to Head Jammer – King II

015. Palm Strike ▶ Head Jammer

King II packs considerable strength, making his hits powerful and effective. Notably, you can harness his strength by applying various combos, such as the Palm Strike to Head Jammer.

Interestingly, this combo comprises both a Russian Leg Sweep and a Palm Attack. It is simple but effective, opening with two successive right and left palm strikes to the opponent’s face and closing with a throw. The kicks have 7, 15, and 30 damage ratings, respectively.

Command: 1,2,2+4

4. Double Thrust Roundhouse – Jin Kazama

The Double Thrust Roundhouse is one of the simplest combos in Tekken 8. It comprises a right punch to the face, a left punch to the midsection, and a right kick to the same region. However, it is surprisingly effective, with 9, 9, and 18 damage ratings, respectively. It is also worth noting that you can apply this combo in all Tekken games since Tekken 4.

Command: 2,1,4

3. Palm Strike Uppercut to Suplex – King II

018. Palm Strike Uppercut ▶ Suplex

The Palm Strike Uppercut to Suplex is one of King II’s most complex and powerful combos. It comprises four hits: two left and right punches to the face, a left uppercut to the face, and a powerful suplex throw. Notably, the combo’s complexity makes it considerably more destructive, causing 7, 15, 10, and 40 damage rates, respectively.

Command: 1,2,1,2+4

2. Twin Fang Double Kick – Kazuya

017. Twin Fang Double Kick

The Twin Fang Double Kick is another one of Kazuya’s most effective combos, hitting all three body sections. It is an extension of the Twin Fang Stature Smash, another combo.

The combo opens with a left punch, quickly followed by a right punch to the upper body. Kazuya then follows up with a quick right kick to the lower body and closes with a powerful roundhouse left kick to the midsection. The hits have 5, 8, 18, and 25 damage ratings, respectively.

Interestingly, this combo is strategic because the opening baits opponents to block high, leaving the midsection and lower body vulnerable. This combo may seem complex, but the commands are simple.

Command: 1,2,4,3

1. Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kick – Kazuya

Kazuya Roundhouse To Triple Spin Kick

The Roundhouse to Triple Spin Kick is complex but rewarding, as it involves four hits and covers all body sections. Unsurprisingly, it is also popular, as several other playable characters have applied it in previous Tekken games.

The combo opens with a kick to the upper body, followed by two kicks to the lower body, and closes with a powerful kick to the midsection. It has 16, 12, 10, and 20 damage ratings, respectively. It is recommended against defensive fighters. However, it is also predictable because of its pattern and speed.

Command: u/f+4,4,4,4
